Did it in detuned Amuse S2000 GT1 1 Turbo.
It started raining at the lap 90, I finished the race in 6h32min.
Grueling experience, never doing it again.

Done. In 5 hours 41 minutes with the Peugeot 908 HDi Team Matmut. The average consumption of the car was of 61.9 l/100km. I did this by writing on a paper the amount of fuel the car takes each time ti goes to pit stop. Sorry I can't write it on MPG, but I'm portuguese and I don't know how to use that measure.

69.1L is approximately 16.35 gallons.

100 km is approximately 62 miles.

Roughly, you got 3.79 miles per gallon, for us 'imperial'ists...lol

I'm waiting for the option to save during races before I start this one... not really a fan of Susucki to put it mildly

Yes. I finished A-spec Suzuka 1000km last nite. 6hrs and 3minutes, sunshine the whole way. I used the Nissan Xanavi Nismo '06, race soft tires, ABS1 only, best lap was 1:53, averaged 2:02ish per lap. Fun track 👍

I;m still waiting for the save option.

I did 2 of the 4 hour endurance races and it was hooooooorrible.
I knew I was gonna win when I passed the #1 car in lap 1.
But then I still had to drive another 3 hours, 58 minutes and 3 seconds.
Super ultra boring.

Never cared for the Endurances in GT4 even though those could be B-specced, never cared for Endurance in GT5 either.

WHen the save option is implemented, I'll do all those 'challenges' with the horrible X1 so I can get it over with asap.

Did it months ago, I hate to leave any race unfinished. I never liked this race even in GT4 but I did them, just man up and get on with them. 👍

Going to try and finish some endurance races and get some XP before GT6 arrives. Using GT-R GT500 Stealth, good for relaxed 1:58s and eight seconds quicker than AI, but stopping after 17 laps and Bob does 20? Car uses about 60 litres or 1/2 tank for that stint. Even if your car was only a 2:06 and only 1 sec faster after 172 laps would be 3 minutes ahead, on the other hand 1 sec slower would leave you 3 minutes back. So for 6 hour effort may as well keep an " unfair advantage" and get 'er done. After all Audi doesn't slow down for Toyota.

In the wet Suzuka the AI seems to be in the mid-high 2:30s whereas a 2:20 is fairly easy, so the advantage is 15-20 secs per lap.

Done!, 5:59.45 and just pipped an Arta NSX for a 7th lap ahead at the last chicane. Bright sun all day, it never moves from the end of the back straight. And 1,300,000 xp but still 2 mil to go.

Just completed this in A-spec with the Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II. Luckily the weather was dry the entire time. After a mistake starting out with the wrong tires (see my other thread), I made up the time and won by a lap. Total time was 6 hours 12 minutes or thereabout. The thing about the endurance races I like is how the car's overall horsepower noticeably drops by the end of the race.

I used this race to prepare for the Vettel Challenge. After running around Suzuka with the X2010, it made it alot easier for me to pass the challenge with a DS3.
