Have you won an engine swap in the roulette?

I think I saw one once, months ago. Not seen for ages though & certainly haven't won one.
It feels like there are huge parts of the game unfinished or just not joined up properly.

The idea of an engine swap sounds great - imagine turning up on the grid of a daily race with what looks like a standard car but then the race starts & you burn past people because of the engine swap, that would be fun! But instead we're just plodding around in BoP'ed WRX's.

If this is true, and I’ve no reason to doubt it, and I think you’re the guy who said in another thread you’d only played 50 hours or so (about a quarter of the time I played over the first seven or eight weeks after launch, with no engine to show for it), then it leads me to suspect there’s something you’re doing in-game to trigger the awarding of them. Or PD just really are **** coders.
 
I got one when I started back playing in April. I got the Supra engine and I dropped it in a S15 haven't used it yet need to try it out soon
 
I've somehow gotten two of them: the RX-7 engine that goes in the '89 Eunos Roadster and one of the Civic engines or something (I don't care for FWD cars so it's of no use to me... Sure would be nice if we could trade player-to-player!)

Too afraid to do the RX-7/Roadster swap for fears of it being reset and losing the engine.

@Nathan88 There is a thread detailing which cars can receive x engine. I think it was started by Famine and I believe it is sticky'd at the top of the first page of the forum.

I got the Porsche engine for the Beetle and the 2JZ for the Silvia early on. After that, nothing. It’s a shame, because the one non-LCD car I still want is the LS9-swapped Trans Am. Hope they let us buy these swaps with credits soon.

I want the Porsche engine or the K20 - I have the LS9 (but the Trans Am hasn't come up for me yet) but am not that enamoured.
 
Never! And I've been playing since launch day. I took a break from the game this month, already tired of the game. I hits level 50, but I never got a engine.

88 days logged on, 88 roulette spins and not one single engine yet. As lots have said, haven't seen one to win in quite some time now.

Approaching 30k driven, level 50 with 200k collector points. 263 cars and it feels like I will never land an engine to use...
 
99.9% of the time I get lowest prize, watched EEEREEIISS get 100k from a 2 star other day, I got a 3 star and got 10k same day. My 2 star today gave me 5k.
 
From the looks of things as long as I do my dailies every day until the end of the year I have a decent shot at one. 😭

I've had 1. The 13b. It was the one I really wanted too, so I was happy about that. I haven't seen one even appear on the wheel for at least a month now though.
 
I got the BRZ Drift LS engine a little over a week ago after ~2.5 months of near regular play. It’s only compatible with the Silvia Qs and it’s become psychotic.
 
I've won 3 engine swaps:
  • Coyote 5.0
  • M64 out of the Porsche 911
  • R26B out of the 787B
Haven't used any of them yet, I do have at least 1 eligible car for each engine, but have been waiting to see if they add other cars to the eligibility list that I would prefer to swap engines into (e.g. Coyote into the Boss Mustang instead of the Mach 1).
 
No, but then again, I'm not in a terrible rush, either. Still, it could be fun to win one, though.
 
I've won the R26B 4 rotor and the LT-1 V8. I put the R26B into my FD RX-7 and the LT1 into my ND MX-5.
 
got the Porsche 64/03-911 and installed it in the Sambabus. it's a pain to drive as it whips the rear too much.
also got the Hellcat Charger, but don't have a car to install it to yet.
I think I got these before the timezone bug was patched.
 
I finally got one. I've only missed 10 days since launch. I got the BMW engine from the z4 gt3 racecar and put it in the M3 '03 and fully upgraded the car and it has 788hp and easily gets to 230mph

Whew! I would love one of those. I’m guessing it won’t fit the ‘07?

I won an engine for some american muscle car but can't use it in anything else than that muscle car and it's basicly the same engine that's already in it, so it's just a replacement engine :S

I've missed the daily marathon only once since launch.
I was not gifted any tickets for 3 days at the end of last month, on the 29th 30th & 31st.

I have a corvette LT1 swapped ND roadster.
