HDR Toning in Photoshop CS5

Wow - I love all the pics on this page. You guys have some amazing HDRs. I know some people don't like the painted look, but artistically, I love them. Mine tend to be more sedate, just because I'm still learning.

Still learning? Could have fooled me, personally I much prefer photos where it isn't obvious that HDR has been used; much like your photo above.

@rpanico14 - thank you for the compliment. Your photos are always amazing. Your photos above, for example, are perfectly composed, the color tone is great, and the sense of action is compelling. Wonderful stuff.

@RasDa - beautiful AMG. I love the detail in the carbon and the road on the first pic. Well done.

That first pic is just Epic Jukka 👍!

Combination of the fat rear tyres + body lean + front wheel positioning, you can really tell your hustling the car through the turn! Really captured that in your picture!, which isnt easy at all...

So i had a shot at this and i think i'm missing something, it just looks like a brighter picture than one taken at 0 exposure. I took 5 pics -2 to +2 and used photomatix to merge them and clicked on tone mapping, did i miss something?
any help would super thanks
