FINAL ENTRY - ZOOM IN

Zoom out shots' side is basically dead due to Mog and alex (thank you very much ), so I went for 'in'.
It's kinda lame, but I don't have much time to photoshop or take shots, because I'm restarting GT4.

alex's shot I already knew, brilliant work all over (apricot hill, right?). Awesome.
Mog's shot is just insane. Like Bram, I too think you're on drugs or something.
Apart from the cleaning, which is stunning with perfect everything, I think what makes me like it more are the tones you used, every color in there looks great, combining the car with the scenery perfectly. 👍

Keep'em coming, people!

Most probably nothing compared to Moglet or Alex but I'm giving it a try anyway

I don't know whether to enter or not as by the time I have finished taking the shot and editting it it will probably be closed unless you can hang on for me? I won't take long...I promise

Also lovely shot Bram, wish I was that good....

That looks awesome Bram! I see you used 'that' reflections method. 👍

Yeah, thanks for the tip, it looks awesome but I reckon it works better with a different car colour as the grey gets white due to changing the levels and contrast

Also, the rear tyre of the car was really edgy so I created circular paths, turned that into selections to get a perfect circle 👍

Here's my rubbish entry.

Gosh I hate it but it's the only thing I have got....

If I may suggest one thing Speedy, as franz mentioned, zooming out concentrates more on cleaning so if you opt for the in-side, I suggest making use of the GT4 in-game blur 👍 The thing which makes your entry a little bit ":indiff:", but don't take this wrong, is that you've zoomed in on the car at great speed, losing the car's sharpness and killing some of the GT4 in-game blur :)

Just trying to suggest something

Nice one bram and speed 👍
Bram: Your TVR is just perfect, focal blur needs a bit of work since it is too dramatic
Speed: You have nicely captured those wires in the background, lovely composition

Amazing combination Bram, those rims are perfect for that car. As people said, the blur-non blur transition is too hard, and there are other some detail like this, but the car looks beautiful.

Thanks, I tried to clean up the rims as good as I could, and some light edit here and there but also thanks for the blur thing, I'll keep that in mind for next time  Maybe reducing the blur near the center and left, since those parts are closer, would've helped 👍

Thanks for your help Bram. I am slightly confused about the blur thing though...:dunce: But thanks for your comment..

Never noticed that before :dunce: Thanks for your comment Franz.

I think Bram Turismo should of kept the stock rims, but it is still a nice shot.

I wanted to spend more time on this shot, but I also didn't want to miss out by taking to long.
I still like it, but it could be better.
Also, I really am not sure which side to enter this shot in, can anyone help me out. :dunce:

I think it's the IN side  Zooming out is going for the 18mm side where you get the fish'eye effect while zooming in is what gives a great GT4 in-game blur 👍

Also, those rims look extremely clean, how was the original quality?

TW, is there any chance you could PM me your entry to see? It won't load for me.

Thanks for that Bram, I have labeled it IN. :)

The rims were very clean looking, a lot better than the car. Didn't think the WRX would look so bad.

Sure thing. 👍

Great entry TW 👍
I will catagorize it to zoom-in side since there is no distortion at all
go ahead and label it ... otherwise slipztrem may get confused ;)

Yup, those rims usually look pretty good on phototravel, much like the Acura rims. Pretty cool background.

And I too agree it should be on the 'IN' side, TW. :)

EDIT: I forgot to comment on Bram's TVR.
Pretty cool cleaning (those tail lights and the zillion holes are a pain to get right) on the car, very nice lighting of the shot. 👍
Only thing not working very well, like someone already said, is the background blur, because there's almost no transition between the focused and the unfocused part of the image. But the ground looks good, and the main focus is actually on the car itself, so it shouldn't be a major problem.

As with the 2.0, this is extended for a few hours in an effort to increase entries. Go!

Wow ... just wow
if sejtur joins in the comp, it will be pretty much the strongest lineup
hint: the C9
