Last week's winner, alexwrc, provides the theme:

There are street car designs which showcase beauty
with smooth and stylish lines, and there are brutal
racing cars which present huge rims, huge wings
and huge performance.

Only street cars and street concept cars allowed for Beauty,
and only race cars and tuner cars allowed for Brutality.

Any.

There will be two polls at the beginning of every week.
Each poll will have a top ten for that "competitor".
These polls will last for five days.
A final poll containing the winners from both polls will last 2 days.
You must post your final entry in red letters, ex. “Final Entry”.
Previews may be used, but may be no bigger than 300*400 pixels.
You may have two HM's if a preview image is not used.
You may change your Final Entry once (make it clear you did).
Edit out your original entry, or make it clear it is no longer "Final".
Do not use an entry from a previous competition.
Only one entry may be submitted, and it must be uploaded using Imageshack.
Photo-editing adjustments allowed:
Brightness/Contrast/Levels
Colour/Saturation adjustments
Cropping/Resizing
Blur/Sharpen adjustments
Smoothing/Smudging adjustments
Dodge/Burn
Noise filters
Gradients

Too bad rules don't allow to create gore all over the car's windshield...

Great theme. I think I will choose the beauty side. Now that I think better, the brutality may be a greater challenge for me, and I love challenges. But I also love the beauty of the car. But the brutality is giving me some ideas….also does the beauty.

Maybe a Brutal Beauty and a Beauty Brutality can fix this…hmmm a mixing of both elements…nah, that would never work…

afaik, the motorsport elise is a road car ... and unless alex says/considers otherwise ...?

Well the photographer finds the car more of a Beauty than it does as a "beast". Does the photographer's opinion not count now? I mean he/she WAS the one who taken the picture afterall... Or Did he/she?

and Damnit Observer, how in the world do you get such nice close up's? I can't even do that anymore. My first picture ever taken was a close up and it was according to someone "off the charts". Now in attempt to replicate the exact same angle and style, i endlessly fail to do so.


Wow there's so many beauties than Beasts, does that mean the Silvia wins by default if that's the only submission? Maybe i should change mine, Im confidence i can beat that.

To be honest, if I don't like the car I cant take good pictures of it. Until I finally get the settings right, then I can get in the mood to get a few angles in. To put it simple ... I guess I just try and help the car make its statement, don't know if that helps...
