You want one of the easiest ways in the world to lose weight at home?
Want to play the PS3 or xbox 360 and still lose weight?
Want to watch tv while you lose weight?

We have experiemented with many things and this is one of THE easiest ways to lose weight and burn fat.....while you sit down!!!

Heather's easy weight loss routine.
1. Get an exercise bike with a calorie counter. She bought this Marcy exercise bike on sale for $79.00. It is very light and portable.
2. Set a certain amount of calories you want to burn. Example: 250 calories.
3. Now ride your bike for however long it takes you to burn the 250 calories.
4. When you are finished write down your time. Example: 30 minutes.
5. You can raise or lower the calories wherever you feel comfortable. I would start out with 200-250 calories.
6. You can ride as many times a week as you want. She only does this 3 times a week.

At this point you can try to beat your previous time or just finish whenever you want. The quicker you reach your goal calories, the quicker you can get off the bike. If you feel like taking your time thats fine too. In the end you still burn 250 calories. :)

The reason this works so well is because you dont ride for a specific time, you ride to burn the specific goal calories. While you ride you are able to do anything you want. Play the PS3, play the 360, text your friends, or watch TV. Before you know it your goal calories are burnt and you are done with your workout. Then you can increase or decrease your calorie count as necessary. You can take your time or you can push yourself and rip right through it. She was at the point where she would burn 500 calories in the morning then another 500 at night. Thats 1,000 calories!! Now that she has reached and exceeded her goal weight, she has dropped it back down to 500 calories.

Many workouts have your just riding for a specific time. The problem with that is if you set yourself for the time, it can result in inconsistent burnt calories. One day you might burn 300 calories the next day maybe only burn 200 calories. Obviously the more healthy you eat, the better this will work too. Give it a try and let me know what you think. 👍

Thanks, I've been doing something similar but with time. The bike even has a calorie counter so I don't know why I haven't been doing it this way. I guess I never took the time to figure out the best method.

I'm not able to get too into most big time games while biking but give me some Mega Man or something easy to play (Mega Man's not usually considered easy but a couple games in the series I've devoured whole..) or something decent on TV and it's a great way to get some exercise.
