Hello ALL!
I have frequented GTPlanet for quite some time, finally decided to register to show my appreciation to the forum and for all the GREAT advice and tune topics.
My son has been a GT fan since early PS2 ... Until a few years ago I never took the time to check it out .. Once I did!! WOW, I'm hooked! ...can't afford to race in the RW at the moment so, GT is the place to fill the void, no doubt!
...the real driving simulator is a GREAT way to describe it for sure.
I still use the standard controler - which is a bit of disadvantage when online - but it's all abut personal best, experience, and fun for me anyway.
I found GTPlanet searching for set up advice (tunes) and advice for a smoother ride. I like the endurance racin' - would love to see some more options to include the 24h Daytona, would be cool to switch off w/ the B spec drivers, and have more options to to choose dif tracks for dif length races. As far as tunes go, I think tire temps should be included across the contact patch for better set up structure ... (I am satisfied to leave tire psi out though .. got enough to tweak as it is lol) ...temps would mainly help for camber/ toe etc..IMO.
...anyway, thanks GTPlanet and ALL members for a GREAT forum!
I love to test, tune, tweak and tweak some more to try and squeez a bit more out... I'm not near the chassis man as most here, but it's fun to try. Honestly without GTPlanet I may have given up on many of the cars...especially when going to hard tires ... Don't much like racin' on ice lol
