Help changing Username

Hello! I need some help from the PS4 experts.

My username currently appears as 'jochoalions' which is my last name; I want my username to be 'GT_Astroboy'. The PS4 Settings menu does not allow me to leave either my first name or my last name empty, so I cannot play with that.

I want my cars to show 'GT_Astroboy' as the Driver Name when I put that on my Car Liveries.

Any suggestions on how to do this? Much appreciated.

Unfortunately there's no way to change your PSN ID. You will have to create a new account with your desired name. Unless you somehow never input a username?

Thank you!! And if I do create a new PSN account, what would I loose? Would I loose my GT Sport game progress?
