I do not race ovals, but for road racing there are a few standard tips to increase your SR.
1. Run TTs (downside is I believe the SR value of a TT is sumfink like 0.3x the value of SR in official races).
2. If you are not in the back of the starting grid in an official race then start in the pits.
3. Do not race anyone! If you come upon a slower pilot pass only at a very safe location and do not rush to pass him as soon as possible. If a faster pilot comes up behind you let him pass you at a safe spot on the track (eg. go a bit wide at the next corner and let him take the inside, or on a long straight hold your line and back of the throttle a small amount to let him pass you)
4. watch out for yellow flag (turn on your spotter, too) indicating crashed or spin cars ahead of you. Slow down when approaching this scene.
5. Assume all other pilots on the tracks are complete idiots on the track and all of them are trying to wreck you!
Not race at Boston in all seriousness I have done 2 races at Boston this morning an got 0 inc. start from the pits and drive defensively. Drive like everyone is out to get you and pay attention to any potential incidents occurring ahead.
how do i start out on the pits? road is pretty fun and im getting the hang of it but im not confident enough to race with ppl yet ovals im ok in loved the usa track(more room for error)
