Could get it wrong but in the video when it’s on the base, the right side sounds softer. I think the thing is, when we pay that kind of money for a wheel to play a video game, you just expect everything to be 100% good, not discrepancies from this to that and one heck of a high quality wheel. I get the odd tick sound, popping the wheel off, spinning the spring works. I know what’s wrong, the spring has a burr and digs in then gets wound up.

For the money, the spring should be sheered then deburred.

I have the RS shifter/handbrake arriving today👍 . Placed an order on the logi website because it said 'in stock' with delivery in 1-2 days, but now the order has been processed they say it is out of stock! & customer support can't give me a date now. So jumped on amazon and got next day delivery. Hoping I can cancel the logi order now 🤔

For firmware - do I need to connect the shifter to the wheel and then the wheel to pc for firmware updates / ghub settings, or can I just connect the shifter on its own?

I am going to be fitting it to a rig - could anyone tell me what the bolt sizes are - are they M6 and how long are the included bolts? Can't see any of that in the specs. thanks

I'm looking at getting back into Sim racing, been eyeing up a used deal on a Fanatec GT DD Pro but also seen glowing reviews for one of these. For those that have owned both, what are the pro's and con's of either? Is this a big step up in quality over the Fanatec? Thing is, I can pick up a used GT DD for a few hundred quid less but not sure which out of the two is more reliable?

- Perfect compromise between GT & F1 - Buttons could be more "racing like"

- Fantastic handling and ergonomy... - ... except for the two "magnetino" (awful placement)

- Good build quality... -... but why on earth replace silicone leather with plastic ?

The bolt size is M6 not sure on length but I do not believe bolts come with the wheel base or mine didn't.

Thanks for posting these - I haven't seen any other pics of the stickers in place so good to know how they look. Are those ones transparent or on a grey background? Totally get why you took your time placing them - it would look crap if they were not properly lined up! Does it feel like the stickers will last and stay in place or do you think they will peel off after a while?

I don't understand why they didn't just make a version with PS button labels as standard and also why both the Xbox and PC versions both use the A B X Y buttons. Being a long time PS user it grinds a bit that I will have to look at those buttons. Nothing against Xbox users, just that it feels like a cheap compromise not to have the proper button names.

Agreed, I feel like the group that shouldn’t care about button labeling is the PC group. Apologies if I’m incorrect.

No transparent background stickers in the box (only grey, blue, green, orange and red). Frankly, I think that as long as you leave the stickers alone they will stay in place. But I also think that only time will tell.

Me niether. That said, it could be some kind of revenge on Logitech's part towards Sony (PD in particular) for messing with FBB power and TF intensity in the previous updates. 🙃

I received the RS Hub on Saturday and gave the Track Wheel a first try. First impressions are very good! Force feedback feels more precise, I felt more in control, though it may partly have been placebo 😅 Definitely more comfortable!

I'm taking a break from GT7 to play some other games, but I'm looking forward to more racing with the new wheel 😎

Their press release (US) currently says January 2025. Though I could have sworn one of them had said holiday season 2024, but I must be mistaken.

It's "the Logitech sim week", i just check the E.U website and i find some strange options :

-15% discount on the Playstation Base with D shape wheel + 15% discount on the pro pedals (bundle)
- No discount on the Playstation Base (stand alone), neither on the pro pedals with a simultaneous purchase.

I am interesting by a Playstation Base + RS Hub PC + Momo GT 320 mm (Q1 - 2025) + Pro pedal... so no discount at all.

Using an affiliate code from one of the YouTube reviewers will get you a small discount. For instance, from the above video the code KIRETH will get you a 5% discount on most things. While not a large amount it's better than no amount. 🙂

I noticed the sim week banner on the UK store which suggests money off the more you spend (rather than discounted items) but there doesn’t seem to be anything coming off when I add another RS hub, round wheel and handbrake. It doesn’t mention needing a coupon code?

Accelerator "bug" still happening for me (goes dead sometimes at full-throttle).

It's happened 11 times now in roughly 8 different cars - road, race, 4WD, FR... makes no difference.

I've experimented with applying sideways pressure and "jiggling" whilst holding the throttle down but that doesn't release it (only lifting it does), telling me that it's likely a software issue.

Again, this only started happening the day I installed the last update.
