Well, I had a 10 day holydays and now I want to work hard :)
I've bought a computer and I use my brother's TV card. The cuestion is: Which program (software) do you use to make a video??

Thanks in advance. ;)

Windows Movie Maker is a good choice, it comes with XP. But a really good program would be Sonic Foundry Vegas Video 3.0 - 4.0

IMHO Adobe Premiere seemed to be really easy. even thought i didnt work it. my brother made it look like it was too easy. with the easy text and easy fade in and out to black. my little drift video in my sig was way cool.

I have another question: In the Divx por codec, what quality and other things you put? I mean Kb/sec, size of screen, frames per second.................etc.

I would go for Adobe Premiere. It's the best video editing software other than Final Cut Pro for Apple Computers.

What version do you have?

I have now the Adobe Premier 6.5 and I know how to use it (I'm taking practice).
But, when time to compress the video, how do you (LanEvo) compress the vids?? Which encoder do you use?? and how???
Please tell me.:) 👍

TingBoy: But how do you encode your vids??
That's what I'm asking. I use DivX 5.0.5 but I don't know how to set it up well. I need some hep. Please.

I have Adobe Premier 6.5 and I know how to use it.

What I'm asking is the steps to follow to set up propperly the DivX codec (I use 5.0.5) to obtain a slighty small Mb video. Ok?

i think u have to install one of the older divx versions to be able to encode ur video with divx...
i forgot which one it wuz...i'll ask my bro once he wakes up....it'z 11 AM here....good god he programs late into da nites...
i do remember tho, it was the version b4 they altered the codec completely cuz of some stolen code from microsoft or something like that....maybe it was version 3.11

I have modifieded some videos I downloaded from internet that they weren't compressed with DivX. And the codec worked correctly. I think that a newer version is better than an old.

Ok guys, thank for your cooperation. I've found a setting to put in the DivX that it works well.
So let this thread die. :)
