I was able to do well at school and as a reward I'm getting a new computer. Unfourtunately as college (still one year left, but still) approaches I can't walk around with a tower PC tied to my back. I've been looking for a while now and I narrow my options to two:

a) Asus 15.6" N550JK-CN104H

b) MSI GE60 2PE 284XPT Apache Pro

Although my budget is unlimited I don't really want to go over 1500€ on my new laptop. There is another option that it's a bit over budget but I drooled over it. The MSI 2GS Ghost Pro 3K

Another important note, until someone convinces me otherwise, I'm not looking to laptops with AMD cards (I don't know why, I'm not that open to them)

Please help me with this choice, since it's going to be my laptop for years to come.

Before I go on with my conclusion, I would recommend you list websites that are in English for easier access.

Looking at the two choices listed above, the one I personally think will perform better is the MSI GE60 2PE 284XPT Apache Pro, according to the specifications. With both having the Intel Core i7 CPU, the only difference here is the chipset. The MSI Apache Pro has the Intel HM87 chipset over the HM86 chipset that the ASUS model holds. The MSI Apache Pro has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M over the 850M the ASUS model had. Comparison here: http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-860M-vs-GeForce-GTX-850M
Although the ASUS model has 2 or 4GB of DDR3 Video Memory, while the MSI Apache Pro has only 2GB, but this is GDDR5 memory.
For connectivity, the MSI Apache Pro has 2 USB 2.0 ports and 2 USB 3.0 ports, for a total of 4 usable USB ports. The ASUS model only has 3 USB 3.0 ports, which is slightly better in terms of performance, but you lose one USB port for that.
One thing that the ASUS model has (that is better) that the MSI Apache Pro doesn't is a Mini DisplayPort. The Apache Pro has a D-Sub(VGA) and HDMI output. Both have HDMI, though.

So by looking at these points, I personally think that the MSI Apache Pro is a better choice.

If you're looking for something to run games at high quality and FPS, I would go for the Ghost Pro 3K.
The only improvements in this are that the GPU is now the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 870M over the 860M, the video memory is increased to 3GB - 6GB of GDDR5 memory, a slightly larger HDD capacity (1TB), a better display resolution, an HDMI and Mini DisplayPort output, and improved audio.
The Ghost Pro, like the ASUS laptop, only has 3 USB 3.0 ports.
The only thing that concerns me is that the Apache Pro has an "Anti-Glare" screen (as listed on their website), while the Ghost Pro doesn't have that listed. Also, you're looking at a slightly higher power consumption (150W over 120W).

If you don't care about price at all, go for the MSI Ghost Pro 3K.

First of all I apolozige for the portuguese text but the things wrote is what you should expect in the home sites, what matters is the specs.

Both computers in English

ASUS: http://www.asus.com/us/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/N550JK/
MSI: http://www.msi.com/product/nb/GE60_2PE_Apache_Pro.html#hero-overview

I did endless comparisons with those and the MSI's. I found the MSI Apache Pro to be a bit better. The Ghost I posted isn't the Pro version. Basicly is a Apache Pro with 3K display improved RAM and slight HDD improve and to me (despite being way much more portable) can't justify the 500€ increase. The version I also considered is the Ghost Pro without 3K, but neither versions are sold here in Portugal and buying it in foreign sites might be an advantage in terms of price but the shipping costs would kill those advantages.

The Anti-Glare is designed to cut down the amount of light refelected. The LCD 3K screen doesn't have have/need Anti-Glare. The standard Ghost display has Anti-Glare as well.

Thank you for your advice, I really apreciate it.
