Help needed Holden Monaro TUNING

Hi Racers,

Im in need of some help tuning my monaro, as we have a group of 8 mates that race using this beast, we race endurances races (one every 2 weeks) after a 15 minute qualifing period. im after an all round setup with mostly just adjusting the top speed for track size. this week we are racing autumn ring mini (90 laps) yes its going to be full on 8 cars racing around a track that takes 35 seconds on average to complete a lap.

yes thats a car setup but for this track?? im after some more info that can get me around in 35 seconds but still have tyres to last a far while as every pitstop will lose a lap and best quantity of fuel to add on said pitstops??

ok well ill try again, has anyone actually tried to race with that "meet garfield" setup?? it sucks balls. good for drifting but not racing.

the next track we are trying is laguna seca, i can get a high 1:21 with the monaro would love some feedback on others as in times and setup used. the only condition we have is that we use the monaro all options and setups are open other than that. good luck

LDP Commodore GTS-R Predator Edition, a brilliant, brilliant car. See if it works one the Monaro. I've not got any laptimes for the tracks you're after. Plus I race this thing under restrictions. I've added no power to the stock car, just suspension, transmission, drivetrain and weight. Runs on Sport Softs. This car is so predictable it's ridiculous. I race this against other saloon cars, and whilst it isn't the fastest, I can do anything I want with it, and it'll do it. Whilst it is happy to stick the arse end out on demand, it's not wise to under endurance conditions. You'll eat through tyres. Any tail-happy-hoonery will eventually see you heading into the barrier. Keep it off the curbs and out of troughs and it'll stay planted. The best bit by far is the sound this thing makes, especially when you're up against the highly strung four pot boys...

so how did your tune go?? did u get close to my time around laguna seca?? it looks like all the people on here just like to copy each others tunes and not actually try and actually tune to help people. i would be intrested in what times people can get using this car on certian tracks, but too many 5 second jobs on here, no-one actually willing to have a crack
