Hey guys, my contract for my current phone is ending, and I can pick a new plan with a new phone. I need some help picking which one. These are the ones I can pick from:

Huawei Ascend G6 3G

LG G2 Mini 4G

Samsung Galaxy Core 4G

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini 4G

Sony Xperia M2 4G

To be honest, I don't know enough about smartphones to really see the difference between all of these. General use of my phone is mostly apps like Skype and Whatsapp over Wi-Fi. My current phone is a Samsung Galaxy Ace (2011). Any help is appreciated, any info you need I can give you.

Does the camera matter to you? do you prefer any particular skins of android? consider these things if you don't really care that much, I'm sure all these phones will skype and whatsapp  , so maybe just pick the best speced one or the best looking, my picks would be the M2 or the S4.

This isn't on your list but you should look at the Moto G 2nd gen.
Edit: Sorry, I thought you were buying a phone outright :dunce: I'd go for the Xperia, just don't expect an update to lollipop, Sony isn't very good at updating their phones.

Thanks! I picked the Xperia since it has a large(r) screen compared to the others. I was just wondering if any of you had experience with any of these. The Galaxy Ace that I have right now is... VERY outdated :indiff:

I highly recommend Xperias. I have had Xperias since 2010 and I really like them. I have tried the M2 (as a test phone) and it is a really decent phone for the price. Though I have to admit that the S4 Mini felt a little more solid in my hand than the M2. Both of those are my recommendation; but see if you can pop into a shop and get a little feel for them?
