The GT by Citroen would make it under 100MB no problem. (IMO)

Whatever this update provides us with, it's great that Polyphony are continually progressing with their work and rewarding us with updates that we didn't necessarily expect:tup:
I think it fairly certain that this isn't the 'big autumn update' which means we still have that to look forward to. All we can do is be patient:tup:

Indeed. I remember (correct me if I'm wrong) that one car in GT5 has about 200.000 polygons. Now let's assume (a big assume) that one polygon needs about 64bits (8 bytes) to store all data, than one car would need about 1.6MBytes. (The amount of physics related data should be relatively small).

I don´t think that PD will release an bad looking GT4 Nürburgring version! they always like to do everything perfect so they will bring the ring only when it looks amazing...

I don't think 108mb is enough for us to expect too much from this update. My best guess is some more tinkering with the physics and penalty system for the online shambles and maybe some other tinkering. As far as cars go, we may see the Citroen but not much else.
Best bet for the update is Friday week as they will most likely change the online events at the same time. And if memory serves me, most updates (for GT5P) seem to happen on a Friday.
I would love to see some impqovements to online events matching but I just can't see it happening with this update. I am sure we would have had some leaks on the info if Racing Clubs and Team Builder were going to be released.

I think the person that stated this early is absolutely correct - there could be major content already in the game that is toggled off - they have probably been spending quite a bit of time with the Citroen GT over the last few months and it may already be in our game - we already see one button that is disabled in the Dealership links. I wouldn't focus too much on the size of the update to determine what is coming or not.
Do you guys think that once we have GT5 and GT5 together, they will share the same online content? That would be one way to force people to buy GT5 if they already have Prologue, simply not allow users to race online if they have different versions of the game.

This might have very little to do with it but on Forza 2 car packs consisting of around 6 cars used to only be around 60mb. Naturally this means very little because we're talking about a different game but its a good example of how downloadable content can be less than you would think.
The update might allow private rooms because this would take very little. We might see another car/s but what we won't see is another track or damage as the update is far too small.
There is the possibility of content already present that simply needs unlocking but I have my doubts on this.

I agree. I think if PD had something finished and ready for release then they'd get it out the door and get it tested (by us).
Unless it was something that relied on something else that they hadn't finished yet, so it gets unlocked once the dependent piece gets finished, but even then, that sounds a bit too risky as far as bugs are concerned for PD to go that route...

At least they gonna update events so that's good so tired in racing the same tracks!

any improvement they make is welcome to me...i just would LIKE some new cars, and more importantly...some more TRACKS!. Can't believe it's going to be soo long till the full game release 
. Private rooms would be the BEST update IMO rite now as i am really enjoying the game, especially with my newly aquired G25, but online racing can get very frustrating playing with random people who think they are in a Destruction Derby
