It's a racing game for christ sake! Or at least I though it was supposed to be. I don't give a damn about concepts! Only if they're race car concepts maybe.

Forgive me, you want a racing game with complete boring everyday stocks, but no concepts? Doesn't make sense to me. Well I love GT mostly for the concept stuff like the Nike car, the Toyota with 1 gear or the Dodge concept from GT1 👍
As for funny ideas I hope there will be an option to separate the people with wired and wireless connections:sly:

Don't see why that makes me wrong. I said it's a racing simulator, not a not a good driver simulator. You race your car against other cars on a race track. Some a real race tracks, others are made up race tracks and a few are race tracks laid out on city streets. Yeah, you have to be a good driver to progress in this game, but a good driver on a race track, not good at driving to work or to the shops.

Well that probably has to be because of the way that I see it, because I see it as the game improves your driving skill, and maybe it's not your driving to the shops but on any b-road I think it would be as it improves how you're able to spot some things, maybe I cannot do a good comparison because whn I started playing I was too yound to drive a real car so my driving skill has changed a lot since then.

hmmmm... i know what you mean ( i think :) ) but isn't driving fast against an opponent or the glock ... actually called RACING :confused:

Ok, you are using the GT series for driving while I use it to race. I'm fine with that. End of discussion.

Back to topic. Do you think the update will be availible during the TGS?
 
Does it really matter? That's not the topic.

TBH I think any update is a good thing. It would be nice to have a big suprise on its way, but i'm happy if it just sorts out some of the problems.

I wouldn't mind a new intro though! If the next is as good as the current one, it's epic win like.
 
I hope the online events will be great and more broad this time, I hope one day that there will be an online race where you can drive anything, from the Daihatsu Copen to the Ferrari F2007

I DO! I just sit and watch it over and over, without ever actually using the game for its intended purpose :dopey:. Not.

Personally, I find layout/intro important. I kinda want the Nurb but don't... I want to see it and have a drive on it, but I also like the suspense that comes with waiting for it to arrive, along with GT5.

hahaha I agree /\/\/\. The new audi intro was cool, but if it never came along wouldn't make a world of difference. As long as the cars/tracks/physics are on point thats what GT experience is all about for me anyways. As long as the updates are IMPROVING things, i'm all for them. Being a fairly new G25 owner, i've fallen in love with GT5P all over again, feels like a different experience than with my old DFP which came out for GT4. The wheel is soo much smoother and it seems i can feel the road more. Also the addition of a clutch and a Gated shifter (i did a slight mod to make the shifter stiffer, clicks into gear better) and i've been addicted to it like CRACK! :)👍

Just because they wrote "the real driving simulator" on the box, doesn't mean it's an acurate statement does it. I could easily add to my GTP profile that i'm the worlds greatest diplomat since Basil Fawlty, doesn't make it true though. :lol:

I can't stand Concept cars. I think PD should concentrate their efforts on real world production cars with 100% accurate handling models, but then I'm funny like that.

Couldn't agree more, but pd is a marketing medium for car manafacturers these days it seems.

Yeah, thats good for PD's business I guess. And for the people who want ugly and completely pointless concept cars in GT.

Well, I hope they will include some race cars as well! Both modern and historic race cars. God damn, every single race car ever made should be in the freakin game! :crazy:

racing = driving...driving = racing..blablabla...:)

if it says REAL driving simulator ...how is this not accurate??it simulates REAL driving...thats the point...👍

OT:as others and myself allready mentioned,the paris motorshow starts this week and therefor it would be logical we would get this update(so NOT the "big fall" update)before this coming weekend......:eek:

Something I wouldn't be suprised if it has been mentioned before but wasn't gt5p demo unveiled and cars unlocked to coincide with a motorshow last year? So couldn't we expect the same with a car (at least the citroen) being unveiled in the game to coincide with its release at the paris motorshow?

And......just to hype the speculation even more, could the new Lambo make an appearance in GT5P aswell as the Citreon! Just pure speculation, just thought it needed to be mentioned as Lambo are kind of doing the same as Citreon with teaser shots.
 
I really hope to the PORSCHE stock car but not the RUF. Maybe RUFs have higher performance, however it seems PORSCHE has more driving funs due to its RR drive..

Yup. The '86 BTR was one of my favorite cars in GT4, especially for laping the 'ring. A challenge to tune and drive, and loads of fun when you get it right.
 
im glad theirs a new update comming or at least part of the "big fall update" hopfully we will get much needed private rooms online, dont care for a new car espically since its a concept car, its fine for the full game but hopfully it will be a fun car to drive. what i really want is the nurburgring it was the track i most played in gt4 witch i havent played since the gt5p came out, or couple extra tracks like midfield or some other gt tracks their are plenty of cars in the prologue and not enough tracks

Everyone whos not looking forward to the car shoudl stop bitching about it. It's a completlely free update and god knows whats inside it. Stop whining people about it and actually apprechiate what Polyphony have done with a nice surprising update. Theres no pleasing some! jeez!

I agree, especially when they are developing a game that is costing them a lot of money more than ever to do this for us. You know they can stop developing the game if they choose to so you might as well just thank them for their hard work
