Hey I question about this new forum mumbojumbo

K i'm not complaining or anything. i actually like the new style, however, when i'm looking in a forum, the icons on the far left that show if it is new or if it has more then twenty replies, well on some i'm seeing a BLACK DOT. And i was just wondering what this was.

actually i think i know what it is. I think it appears when i post on that topic or on topics i started. Is this right??

Yes, this is correct. The black dot appears next to any thread you start or reply to.
