i am curious... when did you start this website?

was it your idea? How do you get started on such a site?

what makes you so good at it? Is there a group of you that started it?

How come i didn't find it earlier then i did?

i am curious... when did you start this website?

I started the GT2 Community at MSN a long time ago, back in January of 2000. It was relatively slow and inactive, but this is where our members such as Talentless, Phil, Fangio, Tiberius, Misnblu, myself, and others started the grounds of the community. I began GTPlanet last Febuary, and then moved the forums here at the first of June (of course, this didn't include any member accounts or messages from MSN, it was a clean slate).

Yes, it was all my idea. To explain how I got started, I must once again refer back to the old MSN site. I had just found the MSN Communities service, and Gran Turismo 2 seemed like a very interesting and popular subject. Then, I immediately went to work creating the content for the site (something many other communities at MSN were strongly lacking). This is where I learned the ins-and-outs of HTML, and basic web design stuff.

But, soon, I felt I had outgrown MSN, and wanted to move to a "real" website, and the rest is history.

what makes you so good at it?

Haha, thanks! I'm really not that good at it, but I am always trying to learn new things about web design any time I can.

Is there a group of you that started it?

Nope, I'm the only one. A friend of mine did help me come up with the "GTPlanet" name, though.
