The plan was to open the lounge at 8;30 pm GMT on fridays, but we may have to change this time, due to the clocks changing in England, and it being too late.

You're more than welcome to sign up.

Yea, if it says on here that it would be 21:00 GMT which would open up 2 spots for me and my friend from last season.

We may have to have it an hour earlier though, because of time changes in Britain. that would make it 7:30 pm GMT, 8:30 pm BST.

Funny thing, they also changed in Australia back to normal and +10 UTC.

So I want to start at 7:30am AEST, which is also 9:30pm UTC, and you guys are on SMT now? So that'd be 10:30pm BST? How irritating, SMT wrecks everything.

Might have to completely re think the whole thing... Possibly Saturday morning for BST, and later at night the US participants?

Oh, well then I guess were out of the option. Have a fun season I guess. Good Luck to everybody.

Saturday night EST.. Depends on the time.

This really awkward. We'd just sorted it, then the clocks change...

Well do something. I can only really race on Fridays after 7:00 pm BST now, and Saturdays are really a no go for me.

Saturday mornings though? No?

Here's an example

are we still struggling with when to run the races?

its awkward when we're from all corners of the world ;)

I dont check this thread very often so please PM me or... better still PM me on PSN for first race details pleeaaasse :)

My image proposes 7am AEST, it tells the time in both UK BST and US EST

The times posted on the OP fits me well thank you so I dont think you have to change the start time of the events

Alright, here is the proposed time, we're stuck between UK and AUS at the moment, SMT really does ruin everything.

Time zones

US EST -5 UTC
UK SMT +1 UTC
AUS EST +10 UTC

[*]2130 UTC is when the Lounge opens for official practices and races, with a start time of 2200 UK SMT (1600 US EST and 0700 AEST the next day).

I won't go earlier than 7am, which is 10pm UK, and if that's too late for the UK, then we'll have to move it to the UKs morning.

For example 7am UK is 4pm AUS which is also 1am US. So that's no good, then we move to 7am US, which is 1pm UK and 11pm AUS, which works fine for me, but not sure about the others.

Need to sort this out, hopefully in the next couple of days, as we can't resume with the 'standing' UTC time, since its too late for 2-3 of the participants.

1 pm UK time will also work for me I don't know about the others though

1:00PM on a Monday - Never going to happen. I have school. That one needs to be ruled out for me and Dano.

I'd also want to be finishing by 10:30PM, just so I have some down time before I go to bed.

I don't know how others feel, but me being a teenager... Sleep > GT5 The only morning times I can do would be lounge opening at 7:30AM for 8:00AM start. However, this doesn't work again, because of school on Fridays. Saturdays aren't any better either, because I'm often away / out on Saturdays, with early starts.

Why don't we just do the same time that we did for s1 but on a Friday/Saturday for aus

Both sets of clocks changed (UK and AUS) making everything awkward for us. Conza is only 9 hours ahead of us now, meaning that the sessions would have to be 2 hours later? This clearly won't work for us Dan, because it will mean starting qualifying at 10:30PM.

Imagine that on a Saturday morning though (like I was planning to do you everyone else's Friday night/afternoon)?

Yes, clocks moving forward and backward make it more difficult, strangely.

Also, if it were eveyone's Saturday (7am US, 1pm UK and 10pm) that might work out alright, no?

As I've said several times, I can't do Saturdays, especially at that time.

1pm Saturdays? Really? What's happenning then? I mean, there are many Saturday nights where I'm out at 10pm, but I'd just have to miss doing that for a few weeks. What happens at 1pm for you?

Maybe I play for a football team? Maybe I like eating my lunch before playing? Maybe I have a social life? C'mon, isn't it obvious that I can't do Saturdays?

Come up with a solution then, not just a problem.

I'll just miss every match shall I? Starting left-back has to turn up. Why don't you wake up 30 minutes earlier? You would if you cared for this league. If not, I guess you'll just have to accept that I will no longer be a part of this.

I will probably leave aswell because if we keep this start time at 10:00smt it will be too late for me
