Well not even one yet for a few reasons
Being well not great at racing games I've only just made the game more "realistic" for myself manual grip reduction mechanical damage skid recovery etc
I don't really know how to drift properly but with my first few new "realistically driven" cars I love throwing them threw the corners so I thought to start drifting
So basically this thread is asking for advice and tips on all things drifting
For starters what car should I invest in for drifting I was thinking the rx7 in the NCD
What general "rules" are there when it comes too cars how to tune them and actually driving them sideways

Welcome to the drift section.

Try to search more info before you make a thread like this, because there are dozens !

Try to drift with comford tires, most of the people I know use Comford hard.
Lower your car a bit, you don't really need camber to begin with drifting. For a RX7 FD, I'd suggest to use a low or medium RPM turbo and engine stage 2 to start with. Medium turbo is the best for that car if you ask me, you don't need all HP.

Controller sensivity -2 will make it easier for you to start with, it will feel real and will allow you to turn your stick like you turn a wheel. Slow and smooth.

Well if you every\ plan on doing comp then you need to stick to Comfort hard tires.... if not use anything... besides that i strongly suggest the RX-7 (FC) from the new car dealer over the FD... And if you need tips then add me on PSN and i'll help you out a little

now i don't want to give a bad impression but the drifters of GTP are kind of stuck up about the rules they set... so try to not start any fights with anyone... or express opinion on things that go against there set of rules.... otherwise you will be hated like me.

After some digging the following are going to seem to start me off all premium
M3
Rx7 spirit
Amuse s2000
Tvr tamora
The 07 impreza
What opinions of the above ( I have them all will just need to apply parts and tunes)

Don't try the Amuse GT1 S2000...it has a crapload of power and is only tame-able with practice.

However, any street S2000, especially the AP2 in the new car dealership is great to start off with.

Dunno how many people would vouch for me with this, but the Daihatsu Midget II actually makes a good drift car. For some reason it does actually drift just like a full power, full size car, just much slower. It's great to practice with.

All the cars besides the impreza and S2000.... often 4X4 is allowed in comp drifting and the s2000 has to much power.... like the other guy said try the street version of S2000 if any.

Some more great, premium, drift cars that make good starters.

BMW 135i (this one is VERY good, for any skill level)
Nissan Silvia K's Dia Selection
Nissan 350Z/370Z

Good luck man 👍 this whole drifting thing is pretty addicting, so watch out lol

Yeah don't learn with an AWD on 10/90, you'll just handicap your skills, they're never allowed in competitions and you will often get looked down upon by more experienced drifters.

I definitely suggest tuning the premium (or standard if you can find one) silvia S13 to about 300hp and throwing it around, they're a very good basis for learning :)
