Hi everyone. I found this forum while searching for some specific info on setups for GT5. I'm not much of a gamer, but I love racing games, especially the gran turismo series. I started playing GT5 again recently (life's been busy) when I heard about GT6 coming out. I pre-ordered gt6, so I guess you could say I'm practicing now! I've been playing gran turismo since college (1999-2000) and can remember taking turns with my roomate while playing the long (24hr) endurance races. I have never used a wheel, but I might get one for gt6. Looking forward to learning a little more in-depth stuff about the game, although I only play for fun (not too serious about the racing). I appreciate the amount of knowledge I've seen on here just browsing around! Thanks to the mods and hosts of the site for what you've created.

Welcome to :gtpflag:
Also, I highly encourage you to get a wheel, once you get used to it, it makes the game so much fun. The Driving Force GT is great value for money.

Welcome to gtplanet.

I agree with ittybitty Stigy on that one. The Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel does give you a very realistic feel for the game and gives you more precise steering control in corners, but be prepared to spend around $250.00 to $300.00 dollars for a good one. It's your choice but I highly recommend getting one if you want to fully enjoy all that gt5 has to offer.
