Why don't we have the V6 model in America? Some people can't afford the considerably high priced, fully loaded from the start, V8 Chevrolet SS...

V6 is a great break from the usual v8

Also sounds pretty good (The SV6 also has a Ute option)

0-100 km/h time = 5.9 secs (When Tested)
Top Speed = 250 km/h (Limited)

with this they should have Ford Australia and Holden going one for one as far as cars are concerned so Ford should get one extra if there are every any added to GT6

The base model sv6 starts at 35,000 aud but considering that ur ss In the US starts at 45,000 ours is priced at 60,000 aud it would be about 27,000 in the US approximately

0 to 100km/h time is not 4.9 seconds, its more like 6.9 seconds.
Not true the brochure says 5.9 and i have tried it in my own car and it is possible 1st gear can reach 60 km/h @ 6,000 rpm and 2nd can power onto 100km/h

Gotta assume you haven't got your license yet with claims like this.

I know for a Fact a MK7 Golf GTI beats the SV6 and it is claimed at 6.5 sec to 100.

Says the VF SV6 gets 5.9 seconds 0-100 if I read that correctly. Not sure what to think here.
Considering no reviewer got even close to 5.9 I got assume that was done on a drag strip with plenty of rubber on the surface.

I know with my Previous car an Audi A3 2.0T with stage 1 Revo upgrade it could get in the mid to late 5s on a drag strip but would be low 6s on a normal road.
