I should let you non aussie know that the vl commie runs a R30BE/R30DET, which is a nissan engine, i think holden had some deal with them. There pretty nice cars and go hard.

The only 6 cylinder holden for VL onwards I would feel safe buying:lol:
Na,but the 3.8 sound like **** when more than enough kays are put on the clock. They sound real tired. Listen to a VN next time it drives past you

I'm not sure I like it that much, but it looks cooler than that thing Doug just bought.👍

Whoa dude, quiet about that, last time I told a Commodore nut that the VL had a Nissan engine I almost got bashed.

Some of them are still hurting about the Nissans that tore Bathurst to peice's. Did you know that the only reason Nissan stop competing at bathurst was because Holden threatened to pull out if Nissan didn't. So the organizers, realising how much money they could earn off the "Holden vs Ford" thing, politly kicked Nissan out.

Well, im a hardcore holden fan and i respect that it has a nissan engine, but the v8 is a gm :D, with the bathurst thing, pitty the gtr was taken out, :(

My mate in yr 12 has a RB20 (I think) in his VL. It was originally his cousins, but it got stolen, the ***** painted it bright orange and scraped off the VIN no., or ****ed with something like that which means the car needs to be re registered.
He might scrap it for parts or get it back on the road.
