The Accord Type R was a pretty slick FWD in that game. Not much power but it could handle. And it had a nice race mod.

And apparently the second gen North American Odyssey was sold in Japan as the LaGreat alongside the international Odyssey.
 
Speaking of GT2's Accord, if I'm not mistaken, there were other variants as well. There was a Mugen version you got by completing one of the beginner cups, and also a wagon. Man, I loved this game so much. Great car list with lots of "regular" cars!
 
I owned a CL9 TSX for 12 long years before I finally switched to a SUV because of my child two years ago.

The CL9 was slow as hell, but a very very good handler. I still miss that car to this day.
