Our series tries to be more like a racing club than just a series of races.
We like our drivers to take part with other series drivers, to train together and find setups for each race with their team mates.
We also require our drivers to ensure they answer any posts on this forum and psn messages that they are sent quickly.
There are many championship series on gt planet that you can just join and race, but we do like our drivers to be a part of our club community.
All drivers must signup for the new series on the series forum and take part in both test races.
They must give their forum name - their psn name and car colour.
After the third test race drivers will be invited to form 2 car teams based on a system to be announced.
All drivers who enter series ideally need participate in at both of the test races

3 Penalty Points & Race Rules
The stewards spend many hours planning to make this series run as fair and smoothly as we can, for this we need your cooperation.
Race incidents must be reported on the forum within 24 hours of the race finishing.
These will be reviewed by only those stewards who are not in anyway involved.
To post race incidents to be reviewed as follows.....
without any other comments post
Incident between driver name and driver name
Lap no ?
Turn ? or Sector ?
You will be posted back being reviewed with an incident number.
Incidents will be reviewed by the stewards and any penalties will be posted by
Wednesday night along with the updated Championship table and new car weights.
Outside Track limits
Any driver that runs outside the track limits with all 4 wheels must lift off completely from the throttle and wait until a minimum of 2 wheels are back inside the track limits before using the throttle pedal.
The track limits are defined by the white line running around both edges of the track.
This will be to stop the cutting of corners and running wide.
The kerbs are outside the white track limit lines and are not part of the track.
The only exception to this rule will be made if a car is forced by another car outside or they are avoiding an accident.
If your car runs very wide and you have no momentum to rejoin the track without using the throttle you are permitted to do so if your car speed falls below 30mph 48kph and you can only then gain a speed of 30mph 48kph until 2 wheels are inside the track limits.
Any driver that does not adhere to the rules will face penalty points for each incident.
Pit Entry & Exit lines must also be adhered to at all times wherever possible.
DROPPED SCORES
Drivers reporting a they wont race can use a dropped scores, there will 2 available to each driver.
Dropped scores will be deducted only after the penultimate race of the championship.
Driving standards and points penalties
We want this to be a Non contact series, as with heavy damage, even a little nudge can lead to a huge loss of time for any abuse of this rule.
Driving penalties handed to drivers in this series will be very harsh.
Penalties will be taken off the drivers points standings immediately after the race
and will be reflected in the new drivers points table that will be posted on Wednesdays.
All drivers will be expected to drive with due care and consideration to other drivers.
Bumping cars ahead and causing them to run wide or rubbing alongside cars and forcing them to run wide and gaining any advantage must be rectified by giving back any position gained.
Overtaking
It will be the responsibility of the overtaking driver to ensure there is no contact between cars at any time.
If a driver forces another car off the track by attempting an overtake and then leaves no room for the car being overtaken to continue will be penalised.
If a driver being overtaken clearly weaves or moves to block and causes contact there will be heavy penalty points.
All drivers must ensure that they do all they can to avoid contact.
The driver ahead must always give room to a car that is 1/4 length or more alongside going into a corner.
All avoidable accidents will be reviewed and will points deducted at the stewards discretion.
Being lapped
Class 2 cars should keep to their normal racing line and braking points and class 2 cars would safely drive past them.
Cars being lapped should always allow the leadings car or cars through to battle without interferance.
Even if you are running at the same pace you should let them through then follow.
Drivers can unlap themselves if they feel they can pass and clear the leaders without interference.
Pit lane Entry
Make it quite clear by your position on track when you intend to enter the pits.
Hindering other cars at racing speed will be penalised harshly.
Pit lane Exit
If a car on track is at race speed as you exit the pit lane it is imperative you keep your car inside the white pit lane exit line - Hindering other cars at racing speed will be penalised harshly.

8 Race Start Procedure
After the Qualifying run drivers are asked to wait until the race starts - then quit the race.
The room will then be reset to Practice/Endurance race.
There will then time for race practice until 18.50 uk when the room will be reset.
Once the room is reset drivers must not leave the pit box.
Drivers will be messaged in turn to drive out and park around the track in the order they qualified in and stay in that position.
When all cars are in position the host will start the race - still do not move from this position.
Safety Car - pace car start.
Race starts with pole sitter going off the line slowly and managing the field through sector 1 and 2. in sector 3 the pole sitter will slow down to around 50mph to allow the field to close.
if the leader sees a SC message he must respond OK and repeat the process for a 2nd pace lap.
All cars follow SINGLE FILE - keeping a 3 - 4 car lengths distance between -
NO OVERTAKING UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES -
If a car ahead fades because the driver its messaging, stay behind as the leader will slow for all cars to catch up in the final sector -
FINAL SECTOR if no message SC has been made the pole sitter should slow down to 50 mph or less to wait for people who have messaged, to catch up with the pack.
RACE GOES GREEN
The POLESITTER WILL ACCELERATE TO FULL RACE SPEED EXITING THE FINAL BEND.
and not before.
No car can overtake until after the start/finish line.
Any driver taking any advantage will have points deducted.
If a car incurs any damage by crashing or goes off track with all 4 wheels during the pace lap they must drop to the back of the field - and if required pit for repair at the end of the pace lap, if a second pace lap is run the driver can catch up but must stay at the back of the pack.
Any car can decide to pit for any reason at the end of the pace lap - ensuring they keep to the pit lane entry side of the track so his intention is clear and doesn't cause other cars to crash.
2nd LAP PACE- SAFETY CAR
If any driver see lag after half the pace lap he can message SC - he will not loose position as the cars behind cannot overtake - the leader will see this and type OK in response and all cars should be aware that a second pace lap will take place.
The leader will then slow right down and repeat the procedure for a second lap.
8.1 Race Start Delays & Re qualification
If the race has not started by 19:20 UK time then the race will be postponed until next week.
The qualification will also be rerun.
