As I get more and more cars in my garage (426 unique cars already) it seems the rewards from spins and even super spins become absolute crap. I feel like 70% of the time I get cash, 15% of the time a clothing item I didn’t have yet and 15% of the time a duplicate car (most likely common, sometimes rare or even epic, or FH).

I know there is some heavy dupe protection in the wheelspins to some point and that’s great. But I feel the chances of getting a car you don’t have yet become increasingly slimmer as well as your garage grows. There are still legendary cars popping up in my spins but that entire system is just rigged AFAIK. The game already knows which prize you will win and just show some other stuff as fillers on the spinning wheel IMO.

I'm just going to post the screens of my spin results in the 'The Funny Screenshot Thread'. Last night I spent all my Forzathon points on 3 wheelspins and got 3 clothing items.

I got 3 10 mill cars in total from spins now and all three of them come from the normal spins:

* 1939 Mercedes-Benz W154 (launch update = update 1)
* 1967 Ferrari #24 330 P4 (update 2)

I’ve decided to start hanging on to my wheelspins until the new update later this month. If PG have been listening to community feedback like they said, then we should hopefully see some kind of improvement in prizes, like not getting clothing items we already have. Do we really get clothing items we already have? Like 100% sure? I already have 95% of the clothing items and AFAIK I’m not getting “duplicates” (or the wheel ending on an item I already have). Instead, I see FAR more 2000-25000 green cash rewards than when I started playing the game. It feels to me that clothing items (and chat phrases + emotes) that I already have are more and more being replaced with low credit rewards on the wheel and I end up getting those a lot. Which for me is a fine system, I hope they would replace the dupe cars with cash as well, at least for the common green junk and rare blue junk. I’m absolutely fed up with having to scan my 400+ garage for all the crappy green dupes and delete them manually one by one.

It’s basically the same with clothes, I just had a normal wheelspin and while it was spinning I only saw cars and cash, a lot of cash. I do get your biker gear feeling though, was the same with me. But those “sets” come in a bunch of colours and have a lot of parts so it will take a while to get them all.

What also happened yesterday when you only miss a few clothing parts, is that the same part shows up multiple times in the same wheel spin (was red or pink gloves for me).

The dupe cars have to be sellable on the wheel again like in FH3... indeed super annoying.

I haven't had anything actually good from a spin in ages, the last three super spins I've done were two clothing items and another Isetta, two green cash and a hat and 160k (one purple and two green cash). I've still got a few wheelspin exclusives to get including the NA2 NSX-R but it's reluctant to give me cars at all, much less cars I haven't already had multiple duplicates of. I'm sure it's just a run of bad luck but they seemed to turn to crap at level 210 (1 star), I'm level 258 or 9 now.

My run of terrible luck was ended (at least temporarily) today with the Falcon GT-HO FE, I think it's the last FE I need to complete my collection (edit: it's not, I forgot about the RS3100!). Duplicates is pretty much all I get now, but I have 439 cars and 6 days, 10 hours of play. There aren't any common or rare cars in the autoshow that I don't already own so it's not that surprising I guess. You can't get duplicate emotes and I'm pretty sure you can't get duplicate cosmetics either, the bulk of what I get now are 4 or 5-digit cash payouts and cars I've already got, but that's not always so bad because a lot of rares have wheelspins you can buy for 4 skill points (or 9 or 10) so I usually just grab those and dispose of the car.

I got the F40 yesterday as well but from a superspin. Accompanied by 2 low green credit spins but that's fine, the days of 2 or 3 great things from a superspin seem to be long gone.
