From 1993 to 1995, it had 164 horsepower, but in 1996 they made some type of engine changes and brought it down to 160. It last year was 1997, where it was back up to 164 due to a different fuel injection system.

I knew it had 164-160-164 and the years, but I used Google to find some site to confirm it and for the reasons why it changed.

what i ment by 14 i meant like 14.9 but i tested it and it came out to be 15.3 and im not sure about the weight because i read on the inside of the side door and its really weird but yeah i did 15.3. ill go take a closer look at what it says tommoro because its dark now.

I *think* that weight on the door is the maximum weight of the car completely loaded. If you're out drag racing it shouldn't weight that much, unless you load up your car with gas and fat guys when you go out racing :)

..and you meant 14.9 when you said low 14s? :P

Yep. Cars have three weight measures - dry weight, kerb weight and maximum weight.

The dry weight is the weight of the vehicles components put together.

The kerb weight is the weight of the car ready to roll - assuming full fluid levels, including petrol (gas) and a driver, usually assumed to be 70kg (about 155lb) in the UK.

The maximum (or gross) weight is the total load the car will take, including occupants, luggage and anything being towed.

If memory serves, the kerb weight of an MX-6 is roughly 1300kg, or 2865lbs (or thereabouts), meaning you can fill it with another 1145lbs of people and crap.
