Torturing myself by binge watching '68 Charger vids. I've always wanted one and have always wanted to make a Pro Touring/Pro Street Charger that looks like a sleeper.

I think this owner did just that. Personally would've loved a four speed manual but hey, different purposes/tastes.

It helps that its condition ranges somewhere between "factory fresh" and "freakin' mint". Japanese sure know how to preserve a good slab of Americana...

Please have a 4-pot, please have a 4-pot, please have a 4-pot. 40hp is plenty for a roadster pickup.

All original. In hindsight... going for the old film look was a bad idea. You don't get to see the glory of all red wheels!

I'll post some other prohibition era roadsters tonight.

A '67 Ford Mustang notchback from the French film, Le Marginal. Would recommend watching the chase scene, where the driver, played by actor Jean-Paul Belmondo, pursues a Plymouth Volare sedan in this aggressive looking Mustang. Do have to say that this is probably one of my favorite movie Mustangs, alongside Halicki's Eleanor and McQueen's '68 GT 390.

Here's a modern interpretation of a gow job. It was on the cover of Hot Rod or something about 10 years ago. Street driven.

Too pretty, too low. Anyway...

Nothing sounds quite like a 12-port Jimmy, regardless of the head used--it's part truck, part old Jag (pre-E). Note the backwards text for the date; original to the magazine (Car Craft), not flipped in Photoshop.

Okay, so I have a flatheads-turned-OHV fetish, and whether they're 4-pots or bent eights, I don't discriminate.

Having a '28-9 Ford RPU on Deuce rails with cycle fenders, a Hallock windshield (DuVall ShmuVall) and a Riley-headed banger is on the bucket list.
