But...but... it's got Japanese number plates....and it's not a drift car....is that even legal?

actually the japanese hot rod scene is pretty big over there too, they come up with some real weird rods and kustoms too

I have a request. I saw this video a long time ago with this big black guy who had a muscle car.. i think it was a chevelle ss. and he did a drag race in time central NY, and also he beat a motorcycle in a drag race from a standing start :embarrassed:

I cant find the video though....

This thread needs attention:

What's special about this motor;)

Kudos if you can guess what this was..

Twin supercharged Flathead, with some sort of funny looking pipes sticking out the heads (no not the headers... above them).

Hmmm. Was that a Ford Consul Capri Classic? From Yurp? A Wannabe American with a limp pushrod four under the bonnet? These things are always so much better with some serious iron to push them along...

Edit: Gotta be: just spotted the Bobby in the background and the English plates.

I'm not into Yank stuff, but there are some utterly fabulous machines in this thread... (A Camaro SS on the first page and a Buick Riviera on page 43 to name but 2, but so many are works of art, and I have no idea what cars they are!...)

Yup. It was a Capri.

That Flathead has overhead cams. Flatheads didn't even overhead valves, and an ARDUN OHV conversion costs several thousand dollars.

Alright since I can't just whore up the Imports thread, I'll post some nice American power in here.

702 GMC V12... 630 lb.ft of torque I'd like to see one of them in a T-bucket or something.
