A selection from this year's Wheels Day:
Major WTF moment when I first saw that Buick.
That was the raffle prize; a '34 sedan body and chassis. In an audience that was 90% male, I was amused to see the person holding the winning ticket was female. And 6 years old.
About a quarter of the Corvettes there.
Note for Venari: The red Mercury Cougar I posted a few pages back was there, but I didn't see it until it was leaving. Sorry.

the gtx with the spoiler was one of me favs there quite a few gooduns but lotsa naff stuff too (maybe they missed the turning for the car park

oh that reminds me i found another one of these
68 pontiac grand prix i thought it was the same car lol if top one was a detailed toyota or datsun like ya said its well done
pretty safe to say from that show that wagons, and the rat look are the "in" things lol

I know a while back I posted a photo of my Dads dragster from the 70s.
Engine and Gearbox
Information about them I know off....
The engine was from a Buick (not sure what model) from my Grandad's bosses car, which he rolled into a field. The gearbox is a 'new' one from an E-type (maybe D type, think it was E type) and he also used the rear axle from the D/E-type. Never got to turn the engine over, looks a little sad now doesn't it?

(If I didn't have to take a crate of Easter eggs to bribe the Scouts there to litter pick, that is.)
Cars come from all over the place though - I was looking at a Mopar forum, and one guy who bought his Charger along came from Swindon. A couple of the cars that turn up most years (A Fiat 600 and a Subaru 360) are put into service as taxis at the Goodwood Revival Meeting. Luckily for me, it's right on my doorstep.
