And when were said v12's put in production? I can't think of any examples off the top of my head other than the GT90 concept.
I know that Ford owned Aston back in 1990-whatever, I'm assuming those were Ford's V12's?

I don't believe they were in a ton of cars or trucks, most were industrial engines, some used in tanks, others in airplanes, others in dump trucks and semi's etc before diesel engines took over. Lincolns got them back in the 1930s.

Here's a supercharged one. Flathead, HEMI, supercharged V12.

All that talk about V12's above got me thinking about this car:

Charlie Ryan's Hot Rod Lincoln, (Yes, the car from the song).

1930 Ford Model A body on a shortened 1948 Lincoln chassis with a Lincoln V12 and a 4 speed with overdrive.

Also, the hot rod Lincoln would be a lot more awesome if it was a Lincoln. But no one is complaining.

Technically, it is more Lincoln than Ford.

Engine, suspension, chassis and a few other parts like the instrument panel are Lincoln, only the body & most interior bits are Ford.
