It looked fine for me... anyways back to my questions... are those even logos on the wheels, really doesnt look like logos, and if so are they even related to the car maker...

They definitely arent yellow but golden... like the bristol club logo...

It's definately beaten me anyway. I asked my dad if he had an idea and he's so positive he's seen it he's been searching for about a day for it. He can't find it though so he's given up.

So its a british car maker, with affiliations with ford. I am assumming that the car was meant for the american market under the ford name... Is this correct...

Oh and its a mid engined v6... not I6

Not affiliated with Ford, the company did a range of bodykits including one for the Mk3 Escort. The V6 is mid mounted, came from a Renault 25 and was supposed to be avaliable NA or turbo.

Ok, I'll let you out of your misery. This is a Cartel Tiger from 1983. The picture came from the January 1984 issue of Alternative Cars magazine as I couldn't find one online! As 911 Carerra missed a go, it's his turn next.

Use the edit button dammit. And yes it is. I won't even bother asking the model because a quick search of "1948 davis" brings up the results. Your go.

It's definately early and, as bengee said, there's not a lot of difference surrounding the bodies of the early ones. It's probably got a Kent engine but may even have a BDA. You just can't tell from the outside.

Although it's been solved, I think it's certainly a Marcos 1800 variant. It's not a 2-litre, because they had a little bulge in the centre of the bonnet near the windscreen, so it could be a 1500 or 1600 (or 1800, natch). Other than "it's one of those three" I wouldn't like to hazard a definitive guess...

I think famine should take it becuase he brought up two possible examples of plausible marcoses. Of which both could be the car... Its definitely not a mantara lol...
