I'm sick of GT5 having the steering wheels on the right for cars that in their home country are on the left. Golf R for example. It might be nitpicking but I don't want to drive a German car on the wrong side.
It's not such a big deal. A big part of the basic inside structure can be mirrored and then they'd only have to move asymmetrical elements to the other side so that if fits. Doesn't need that much time, mainly because you do not have to model anything new (or only a few small details). If they already modeled the JDM version of the car, there isn't much that can be done.
If the car isn't exclusively sold in Germany or exclusively sold in a single configuration then it doesn't matter, you just can't pretend that other configurations don't exist in the rest of the world aka majority so you'll just have to suck it up.
You forget that small island called Australia (just as example, there are many more).Um what? The majority are left hand drive. A right hand drive Golf R would only be sold in the UK and Japan.

For us some European it is, expecially on native left side wheel cars. I don't mind driving Uk or Japanese on the right but all German and Italian cars should be on the left. How is it wrong when you're driving in the right side, you confuses me.
Great argument. Let's all shut up and close the forum then.Right or left wheel ?
Just drive the car and shut up
Right or left wheel ?
Just drive the car and shut up
Just drive the car and shut up
You are not very polite person, are you?
I really would have liked the LCD clock in the RX7 interior to display correct time. That would have been so cool.

But you can...The problem arises when you mirror textures. You can't just copy, mirror and paste them as fonts/symbols/etc each have to be fitted in with the mirrored interiors. Knowing PD they would get completely stuck working on such details so just to get the current Premiums in both versions their car modellers would be busy for a full year.
But you can...
With mirror I mean the 3D structure of the dashboard, wheel etc. Then you take the elements, mainly smaller textures with letters, numbers symbols, which can't be mirrored, such as gauges, and move them over. It's not hard to cut textures. Most cars have a symmetrical interior, then it's really no deal.
Really, that needs less than a day.
There's no benefit for them. I was just saying that it wouldn't need that long. And the cost benefit to PD would be? Considering that this would only apply to a subset of the subset of people using cockpit view, I'd much rather they spent that time just converting cars to premium quality.
Gotcha 👍There's no benefit for them. I was just saying that it wouldn't need that long.

And Thailand and Australia an India and a fair amount of African countries and...Um what? The majority are left hand drive. A right hand drive Golf R would only be sold in the UK and Japan.
