Sold about 6,000 units here (couple hundred more than the Vectra) last year compared to 18,000 Camrys - but Camrys start at about $26k (Aust dollars) versus $30k for Libertys (for the base 2.0 model which in auto form wouldn't pull a greasy stick out of a dog's arse).
As I mentioned, though, Subaru here have found a nice little niche for themselves so they're not about volume. I should also mention that Subaru were the eighth highest selling brand with 18,000 units (in a market of 772,000) - over a quarter of which were WRX Impreza's!
I understand Subaru Australia operate very profitably here.
