How can Bob level up faster than me?

Hi,

I'm currently 8000 XP short of level 23 (Bob is racing for the remainder now), but something has got me wondering...

Until now, Bob's level has always followed mine, so we levelled up at the same time. Then a couple of days ago, I made a new Bob, and did a few races with him. This meant that the old Bob wasn't used for a few races.

When I started using him exclusively again, he was a bit behind me on experience. But now, he's suddenly level 23, whilst I'm still 8000 XP short.

Am I missing anything here?

You earn xp in A spec and he earns xp in B spec. The more you use Bob the more points he will have.
My Bob is done 40 and I am on 31.

Bob gets his xp...whatever that amount is....don't think we ever see a number there....and you get the xp displayed at the end of the race. It's normal for bob to have a higher level than your b-spec....we've all been there (think about it, you have up to 6 bobs but there's only one of you...if bob's xp was the same as your's you'd use months to get 6 level 40 bobs even running 24/7)

I'll elaborate, I'm talking about my B-spec level.

It means you are doing B-Spec more than A-Spec. I don't know the exact numbers, but it's much easier to level up in B-Spec.

My guess as to why this is the case is because with A-Spec, there are Seasonal/Special Events and license tests in addition to the regular A-Spec races, so they gave less XP/Race than that the coincidental B-Spec Event.*

*Pure speculation.
