How can somebody have 1500 wins but still in DR:C?

As MOPARbarrett5 pointed out, likely DR manipulation. Alternatively, it could be a DR reset caused by dirty driving. As Our Lord and Saviour pointed out here...

DR and SR are linked. If you have a bad race, or are predisposed to driving habits that impose SR deductions, the SR drop can cause a DR reset if it drops far enough.

The point Mo actually was making is less nefarious in that the player enjoys the A races so is obviously quick but not gaining DR for (likely a lot of experience as well)

The problem with nerfing and DR resets is that would be extremely difficult to have that amount of wins, and that much DR reset for the total number of races.

You also have to factor that winning races then totally trashing the next 5-10 to be reset doesn’t seem like a worth while strat for even the sandbaggers, nor does just sitting at the back to lose DR because that isn’t very efficient loss or time wise.

Most probable is the guy just likes to do mostly Daily A races and that is cool, they prefer pure racing to ranked play.

No harm or foul in that. Remember some of the fastest guys on the leaderboards aren’t A+ or have many races, they just like the competition of TT and not racing people again that’s cool.

I wouldn’t over think this too much, the level of manipulation required outweighs any point to it.

Edit: I don’t sandbag and sit between B/A constantly. I could be higher but I spend time on TT and also throw away many many poles and top 5s

So 1500 wins with no DR progression if you just do daily A is the answer mate.

Maybe the vast majority of wins are in daily race A which doesn't effect DR

This is the most likely scenario
👍

Edit: @Zero2Oblivion grow up dude. You read my other post or are you like a child? Read my other posts mate.

The poo emoji, I actually didn’t think people used that as the silent abstain or thinking one is much more brutal statement? 😒

As others have mentioned, Race A is likely the culprit. It can be quite... desolate over there at times and the competition may not be particularly close.

An example of a lobby I was in a bit ago. Names removed as I am not trying to be disrespectful to anyone.

How did you, as an A+ racer, get paired with C, D and an E racers? Did the matchmaking just feel like being a dick to the rest of the lobby?! 😂

No idea. Just not a popular time to do Race A I presume. It's not atypical to jump into a race A and see all sorts of DR letters representing. This particular one was quite interesting, however.
