How come there's no F1 drag racing?

Sure, there's F1 vs jet, F1 vs Veyron, etc etc.

But, how come there's no video of 2 F1 cars duking it out on a drag strip?

To answer this...

Most; the vast majority of all old-ish F1 cars are privately owned. They do slow demo laps at most, and no owner would be willing to put their car on a drag strip for no reason. It's just money down the drain.

If you want two current teams turning up, there's a fatal flaw. The race would be publicised. A lot. No team is going to divert such resources to run a spare demo car in a race, because they wouldn't want to be seen losing. That's all there is to it.
