How do I stop receiving alerts on unwatched threads

There is a thread I posted and later "unwatched" it, but I still receive "alerts." How do I get this to stop?

Make sure you don't see the thread on your watched thread lists. (Click the

button on the Forum page. Then go to "Show all watched threads" at the bottom of the list if there are more.)

Ether by clicking the "Unwatch Thread" while in the thread or what @Ameer67 said.

Or just ignore that thread by not entering the alert to that post, then you won't have it...until you open that thread again...

Usually not going to the thread when it shows up in your alerts stops giving alerts.

You will still get notifcations when you get mentioned or quoted, dont think there is a way to stop those for a specific thread.

You can either get alerts for those completely, or not get alerts for those completely.
