How do you Access "Beyond the Apex"?

Normally, yes. I have been having internet issues lately (only on PS3)...I tried to download the updated twice, both times about 1/3 of the way through (which took 30 minutes to get to), it said "error, blah blah".

Does "Beyond the Apex" come with the new update?

Have you gone int GT TV at all? It is in there, just under the Opening Movie.

Also, if you are having update issues, after you get an error go into News and it will restart from where it left off. The errors have been a common issue, although I only had one.

haha I wish I would have read this thread sooner I tryed to download the update like a 100 times.... didnt know if you went into news that it started where it left off good tip!

Yeah, one thing to note on that: the progress bar does start over, so it doesn't look like it.

But in my case I was about 1/3 of the way through and got an error. When I restarted it from News it finished when the progress bar was 2/3 done.

I would just like to say that for anyone without a US Blu-ray version of GT5P it might pay to do a Youtube search of "Beyond the apex full"

Since the update when I go into GTTV it shows the download icon next to the opening movie meaning I can't view it. I have the EU blu-ray version and can't understand why this has happened.

You must have hit triangle when highlighting it. I did it too, you need to re-download it to get it back.

It was good but not great, I thought it would be longer and go into more detail about producing the game as well as past games. The whole thing felt sort of last minute and rushed to me and really could have stood with more polishing.

I will admit though it did give a nice, brief insight into the game and the HD looked amazing.

I thought it was pretty good but short, I liked how we saw KY at work in some parts testing the code rather than sitting with a smile on his face and talking for interviews.

I agree, it sould have been longer, I have no doubt the would have got more than enough footage and more detail of producing the game would have been great.
