awesome! we need more genuine posts like this....not always..."Yeah I am always on the fast line around the corner", Or "I am always perfectly clippin apexes.."

Without goin in too hot sometimes or making a mistake once in a while...I would have to say....your not really driving hard enough.

I think drift and grip compliment each other....I find myself drifting when I think my entry when I grip is getting too slow....Its good to practice both evenly. Then I believe overall car control can be achieved.

Drifting can be stressful at times when other cars are around you...but other then that It can be very relaxing....less stressful then grip for sure. It basically is grip...but very lazy....

I think they compliment each other, too. In fact, I think if you're a good videogame race-driver, it pays to be fluent in both drift and grip so that you can merge the 2 styles together. There are times during races in which a well-timed slide is actually better than the typical out-in-out, know what I mean?

Like there are times when there's a car that's blocking the path you would normally take thru a corner. But you need to get by the dude so maybe a slide or a tail-kick (if not a full-on drift) is the answer.

.....the problem is I find in GT4 it's hard to incorporate both styles. GT4 forces so much understeer it's stoopid to expect consistent wins if you're trying to drift all the time./

Depends on the track and the car.
I tend to be a "grip" driver, and used to eschew drifters as being showboats.
I have since learned that a shallow well controlled drift, while horrible for the tires, can be time enhancing.
