It's very soon into the game, after you unlock A license I think.

Start with the career races, you'll unlock it after a while.

Complete the A License tests, and it will be unlocked. 👍

One thing I would like to add is even though I thought the Moon Missions were silly to have, I actually quite enjoyed them when I did them. My 5 yr old asking me how I was racing on the moon with a big grin on his face, was what sealed it for me lol.

Space shuttles don't go to the moon. Apollo rockets did. But I see what you did there..

Realistic gravity on the moon ?

I completed the moon missions and yes the game points out that gravity is only 1/6 to that of Earth's. You can get some decent air time with the rover.
