How do you intend to play GT5? (HDTV-SDTV/PC monitor/wheel/controller)

Basement flooded and wrecked A/C adapter for DFGT! And it's going to take 7-10 days for a new one.... It feels like the universe is trying to prevent me from playing GT5.:guilty:

My setup, nothing too special (more aimed at PC gaming) but it certainly gets the job done :D
I usually have PS3 on TV, PC on monitor. The monitor can do 3D (but not for PS3 :( 1080p though), and the TV is 720p. When on GT5 I'll have the PC being displayed on the TV :)

You may notice that bar going through the middle of the desk near my pedals... fortuanatly they don't get in the way, or I would not be happy >:(

And that is almost similar to the way I would have mine set up. But I don't have a wheel.

Other than all of that, nothing else special.
 
Steering wheel and a PC monitor. Two reasons:

1. Gaming at my desk is awesome. I've got all my stuff nearby, laptop, music, place to put food and drink etc.
2. Thanks to the desk I don't have to worry about finding something else to fix my wheel to :)
 
Until christmas I will be rocking the sixaxis controller, but then it's DFGT time. My wife is being tight though, and not letting me have the wheel until christmas, pfft.

My TV is a 40" samsung, 1080p...can't wait. Between release date and christmas I may have to fashion some sort of minimalist wheel stand that can hide under the sofa etc as she won't let me keep it around the lounge.

Sound is currently 2.1 setup, but hoping to upgrade that to 5.1 soon enough too.
 
I'll just be using the DS3 with a 32" HDTV. Really would love a wheel, but I can't afford it and don't really have the room for it. I manage with the controller though, i'll just have to put up with being rubbish online ;-)

I got a Sony DAV-DZ260 5-1 System From Amazon Last Year for £103 Delivered if that helps your Missus with not spending too much money :D
