Hi guys just wanna ask some people with lvl40 bobs, how fast are they?? like in comparison to a decent human player lap times. My guys are 30 odd but i beat them by a good few seconds a lap with the same car...

There not built for racing humans they are built to race other AI. So are alot slower.
As the Other AI are slower to allows casual players to get gold.
They can drive FGT and Nascar better than some humans as these cars require better controll levels to win.
A player that HAS memorised every Braking point on the RING will beat their time easy +30 secs to over 2 mins as AI won't drive the tires hard even with tire wear off. they drive to preserve tires and fuel all the time.
Also unlike AI, humans don't have a some one saying go faster when going in to a hairpin with two cars in front allready blocking the track by the apex.
This is why Seasonal events will never be grid starts.

Put bob in the same spec car as the other AI at level 40 event and its a lot harder.
This makes Remote racing more fun to watch than Ofline Bspec races as when 2 level 40 drivers both get the same car you have a real race on. Nascar with 16 level 40 drivers has to much action.

honestly,i love nascar in Real-Life,but,i'm afraid to drive one in this game, especially in an-all nascar event.

there are various reasons that made me become afraid of it in GT5.:guilty:

1:In A-spec version,i often get Pit-Maneuvered in the race 5 of Nascar Challenge :ouch:
2:I shudder thinking of what a roll-over looks like because the view tilts with the car bumping sometimes...so i never do a remote b-spec Nascar race, plus if you add reason 1 right up here,b-spec nascar would be a serious mess...:scared:

However,i don't know if the AI/B-specs are better than before since update 2.00,if so i'd give it a try.👍

yes,i'm sorry,i'm off subject...i just have a need to know, since you were talking about Nascars in your reply.

They are not the best of drivers, but I think most people level them up too fast and then complain that they can't drive. I take my time and make them race plenty of low level events on their way up to increase the experience meter. As long as you put them in the proper car for the race you can enjoy some pretty competitive racing. My last two races I lost first place on the last turn of the last lap and finished second by .6 and .3 seconds in each. Could I have thrown him in a "ringer" car, pushed go and walked away to come back to a for sure win? Of course, but where is the fun in that? The nail biting drag race to the finish on the final lap was much more enjoyable to watch. If I have to run B-spec to finish the game, which I do, then I figure I might as well have some fun doing it :)

Same here. I also think people start the race and then walk away, then complain that their bob didn't win. Actually coaching your driver works wonders!

They get a little better. They don't floor it in the middle of corners and spin the car out any more, and if you put them in the X2010 at Indy they'll actually pass the other cars instead of sitting behind somebody, with 100 feet of empty track beside them, waiting for the straightaway. They still do stuff like getting three-quarters of the way past somebody heading into a corner and then backing off and letting the other guy by. And they still hit the brakes so far before the corners that they have to accelerate again before they even get to it. And they still upshift into 3rd for a 10th of a second and then immediately downshift again. And do that about 25 times per lap.

And they still run into the wall before the chicane at Monaco every freakin' time they try to pass somebody there.
