How many attempts are you guys going to make in the early rounds?

I am assuming as long as you gold them thats all you need to do. I see no reason to spend my nights taking a right turn 10,000 times to cut 1/100th of a second off.

That said this is 10,000 times more fun than GT Academy last year. I really like this setup.

I quit as soon as I have the feeling that the progress curve and the curve for "time invested to better my times" cross.

E.g. if it takes 10-15 more tries to get better, then it doesn't make much sense to me anymore to try again. Sure I could be better, but what's the point in scraping another tenth off and wasting an hour on it? Much of the "success" in that area is down to luck anyway, if you're not one of the very best. (talking about WRS Div 1-Gold material)

By that point I'm usually way better than the gold time anyway, so prize cars are ensured. I'm still in the top 1% of 2-5 and I haven't played since the day it was released.
