coming soon...
I was sitting at my house one day playing GT4 (on the nurburgring ) and suddenly thought about how many laps I must have took aroung this track. So basically I opened this thread to see how many others have ran this track countless times.:)

A rough estimate for laps is all that is reqiured (If you counted every lap, bravo:lol:)

I personally have to estimate that I have done around 1500!

I couldn't even begin to guess. Really, I've done way too much.
But to get across the idea of how much time I've spent on the Ring since GT4 came out...

5'26.977 BMW McLaren F1 Fully Quick Tuned Arcade Car Racing Super Soft Tires.

Match that time and I will be very, very impressed.
Match it in less than a month and I will be amazed. :sly:

(for real though, go give it a try and you'll see what I mean)

I had about 900 laps in on the ring even before GT4 got released here, in North America, so by now, I'd have to say I've at least doubled that, or more - yeah, more.

Not that it's helping me redo Mission 34 all that much, right now. :yuck:

Cheers,

MasterGT

Between PGR2, GT4, Enthusia, Forza, and PGR3 (plus two on the real deal :D )...I have no clue. 2000 at the very least.

Believe it or not, PGR2 probably contributes the most to that number. I used to spend hours upon hours doing 'Ring races on XBOX Live at my friend's house, and my friends and I would often do 4-player 'Ring matches.

It's hard to tell, maybe 300 to 400. My B-Spec driver would probably have at least 4 times as much as that though...but that doesn't count.

I would say I did about roughly, 500. Although finally I noticed a difference in my skill at that track.

1967 version
far too many! used to put in at least two 3 lap online races every week since 1999... 300 laps a year, 6 years...1800 probably more, did a couple of 25 lap Grand Prix.

GT4 - alot! First lap I ever did was in arcade more in the Hommel just going "wow!" at the graphics! 18 months worth of game, probably 10 laps a week, another 750 laps there.

Not sure which combo of car is best,

BRM P115 at the 1967 version
or
Lancia Stratos on road tyres on the softer GT4 version

why not drive both!

top fun

I tried to top that, but going by my experience now i can safely say you're quite insane :scared:

Seriously though, that's a lot of practice :embarrassed:

Replay then I'll believe you, even though I doubt you did.

I like doing Free Runs on Nurburgring, I'm going to say around 1,800. Just wait until Famine posts here

Though I have no 'actual' count to give....I would 'guestimate' at over 3000...probably closer to 5000...

I know I went through a 'ring' obsession at the beginnig of the year, when all I would do is drive the ring for hours/hours before going to work....everday of the week (Except weekends) ....over the course of three and 1/2 to four months....and that added a lot of laps...then there was the WRS where the Ring got used a few times (wk 6 and I think 34??) and I spent the entire week doing hot laps...

Props to Sonzilla for actually keeping count! That is some real dedication if you ask me...!

Ehr, 20? :P
Haven't done the endurance yet because i can't find the time
(not for B-Spec bob either)

probably between 2000 and 3000 all in GT4. i was thinking about this a week ago and worked out that i've probably done about 100 laps in a stock 330i. not sure how many but i put in a fair amount of time with the yellowbird too.

I can't believe the amount of laps some of you have done. I maybe have only done a few hundred. Maybe not even that. The Ring is a fun course, long, but fun. :)
