How much do you weight?

  • Total voters
    180
Its also funny that my vote is no longer true. 235lbs here, or 107kg at 185cm.

My BMI is 31 and it says I'm severely overweight, but the only overweight thing here is the weights which I lift. :D

I'm 5'9" and sitting at 180lbs. I can stand to lose about 10lbs, and I'm trying to hit that target by mid July. Now If I can just eat as good on the weekends as I do during the week!

I was 255lbs at 6'4" about 3 months ago but I'm starting to lose some weight and now I'm at 240lbs.

I am at 173cm and 67kg which translates to about 5'8" and 147.7lb or so. A perfectly normal and average height and weight.

I used to weigh as much as 240 pounds but, in a series of about 5 Steps, I am now down to 162 to 163 and holding steady at 5'10". I've actually been trying to put on weight in the last 2 or 3 months with a clean bulk but I'm having trouble finding my proper calorie intake. I'm averaging about 2700 calories a day at this point.

I'd like to think my height stopped growing after grade 12 which was roughly 9 years ago at about 165cm. Weight has fluctuated between 120-130lbs over the last decade almost.

20.8 BMI apparently.

I have my high metabolism to thank for that.

Looking back on this thread, I see I weighed 140 in 2007. Ten years of beer and good food has put my chubbiness at 200lbs.
Roughly at around the same time last decade, I was the same weight as you. I also managed to get to 200 lbs back in like 2013 because of food and beer, but just within the past 2 years or so managed to get it down to 170lbs. Because of food and beer, again, I jumped up to 180lbs lol.

Can I join this club with you and @Joey D? I'm somewhere between 5'10" and 5'11", and a decade ago I would've been about 150. I hit 197 around Christmas 2016, and hovered a few pounds under there until recently. Started keto, and I've dropped 10 lbs in the last three weeks. Aiming for low 180s for a wedding next weekend, and 170 by the end of summer.

Unfortunately for my diet plans, I hear the food in LA is pretty good...

10lbs in 3 weeks is great, I wish I could do that. I have a good enough excercise routine going, and a fairly good diet M-F, but man I eat and drink like a monster on the weekends, and it screws it up every time! I seem to just maintaining 175-180 lbs with the exercise, just so I can splurge on the weekend

Ah, so you're going to be over on this side huh? You can likely find anything you set out for to be honest, and most of it is all within a mile or two of each other. My significant other and I just take the Bus/Train out the downtown during the weekends and just walk around the whole day eating, bar hopping, and just exploring. Would be interesting to set-up a GTP meet and greet! Although, I can't recall there being too many members.

It would be quite easy to work out if we knew who the average GTP member was.

The first few pounds on keto are easy as it's mostly water weight from cutting out most of the carbs. There's nothing magic about keto, weight loss is all calories in vs. calories out and you need a deficit on keto to keep losing as well, same as any other " diet".

Heh, I'd love to do a GTP meet, but I'm not sure how much free time we'll have. It's my first time in California, so I want to pack in as much sight-seeing as I can, but as you can expect, scheduling is at a premium...

Yep. Progress is slightly slower now, but still good. The big thing for me is the focus on calories in has me more mindful of what I'm putting in my body. It's been easy to keep up with the keto-specific goals, and I find myself both less hungry and more energetic than I was when I was just guessing at eating "healthy".
