How stingy are you with your credits?

So far I have only bought 1 car from the UCD, the S2000. I can say I'm quite stingy with my money, only buying Sport Softs and suspension upgrades. Maybe that's why I almost always end up in 3rd place lol
Heh I'm the opposite, I have every used car that's come up for sale. Most of them I've never driven of course. :dunce:

I'm having a hard time getting above 2 mil. I usually earn about 600k a day without grinding, and buy all the ucd and the cheaper lcd cars. I'm up to just over 200 cars now.

I don’t care about owning every car in the game so credits haven’t been much of a problem, especially with the CE rewards. Rentable cars in sport mode will save me a lot of credits in the long run too. I don’t grind any single player races either, that is the most boring way to play this game.

I wouldn’t say I’m stingy but I will only spend them on the things I want.

Ive bought 15 cars so far. 3/4 of them I had to buy to complete the cafe missions. Atenza just so I could compete in last weeks daily race b, and the go kart also. And the rest are cars I’ve wanted to buy, Gr4/3/1, Super Formula, Golf GTi as I own this IRL.
As for upgrades/tuning again I only spend credits on cars I want to improve on and so far I’ve only made tuning upgrades to 2 cars.

Not that stingy I suppose...

I'm very stingy when it comes to cheap cars from the UCD or Brand Central, I just don't want them 🙃

But too prone to splash on a legendary car, almost regret the Porsche 550 today, it isn't very good looking and isn't that fun to drive. Could have had half a dozen fun Porsches for the money!

Quite stingy, but I also don't do alot of grinding events for cash. Generally, as I've completed the menu books and races where you have to have your own car to compete, I don't buy cars unless there is something specific that I want for particular reasons, like the Shelby Cobra because I'm a fan of Shelby or the Pennzoil GTR because I'm a fan of Skylines.

Not stingy at all. I get around 1.5 million a day from playing and I'm constantly out of credits because I can't stop buying cars. I plan to collect everything that's under 5 million.

I've been buying the legacy cars. Trying to save up for the Benz and Porsche now. Hopefully can get both before they're sold out. Needless to say the only saving I do is until I get the credits for what I want.

Now that there's another fresh new option for a fun race to grind, I was able to push my credit balance from 2 million to 9.5mil within a few hours today and I went and bought the BMW M6 GT3 and the Audi R18 TDI for the sake of those two Scapes trophies.

I would say I'm barely, very minimally stingy. My strategy has been to buy all the UCD cars I'm missing as they come, except for the ones that can also be found in Brand Central. I rather get those from Brand Central, because the paltry discount for the amount of mileage they come with in the UCD usually isn't worth saving over. Eventually that car might need an overhaul or two and the overall cost to maintenance ratio would be higher on the used model when assessing how much I'd actually ever drive the particular cars, making the discount moot.

I buy all the Legendary cars I can afford at a time, starting from the cheapest and going up. I have missed a fair few already, but that's okay because they'll show up again at some point or another. I skip over ones that I don't see the point of buying now that I know I won't have much of a reason to drive at the moment, and will defer them to the next rotation. For example, the Barker '29 (the 13million Benz). I don't think I'll have any use of that car anytime soon, so that's further down the line if anything. I put any car I know I won't get this time around on the wishlist.

Finally, I had a goal of obtaining all the Invitation-Only cars from Brand Central before their eventual expiration in mid-May. Last night I achieved this, which felt good because I know how crappy the odds are of getting invitations in the roulette, let alone all of the invitations at some point or another. Now that I've satisfied that stupidly low loot-box-type-acquisition-of-cars-chance-element-due-to-invitation-only-mechanic, I can rest easy knowing all the others will be just a matter of time/rotation and having the credits at the right time. Unless, they do something dumb like add more cars to the Invitation-Only club.

I do eventually want to own all the cars in the game, but I'm fine if it takes me years, because that's how long this game will probably last me.

I buy everything I think I'd drive eventually but I've been keeping a minimum of 20 million in case the Mclaren F1 shows up. Need to grind 32 million more with the Tomahawk to be ready for all.

Since the Tokyo thingy, i've been spending even more cash then before haha.

Cars Bought 95
Credits Spent on Cars Cr. 20,447,045

im so tight its unbelievable! When i start the games i go as far as i can with the cars i have bought or given, then at some point i will have to upgrade/buy a relevant car.
Yeah ive spunked some credits in the heritage part, but ive no interest in spending 9 mill on the ferrari as i will probably never use it.
The credits are more for buying the race cars for online.

I was tight to begin with using prize cars for most of the cafe and only tuning 2 cars.

But now, with 825cr for 30 mins at Le Mans or Tokyo, both of which I thoroughly enjoy, and also because I don’t really want any of the 1m+ cars, I am like a sailor on shore leave, blowing through cash on tuning parts I don’t need, wheels I don’t use and paint colours I don’t even like!
