Set your time zone to "Independent State of Samoa" - it's +13 GMT

Done - if new seasonals are set to unlock at 17:00 they will unlock at 17:00 according to your time zone in PS3.

Not sure how known this is - I didn't know.

I don't think this works. PDI's schedule is not related to your PS3 time zone. The new Seasonals will release in an hour or less all around the world annd at the same time.

It's impossible to gain early access ... the event release time is simultaneous worldwide no matter the timezone.

Doing as you have suggested is totally pointless and achieves nothing. Changing your timezone's is not time travel.

That & my system can't even figure out if it's daylight savings time or not. Surely don't want to confuse the thing any worse than it already is
1700 in what time zone, must PST as CST it's 2047 now.

Your login bonus does work according to your time zone. Or it should. Your PS3 says it is 11 pm, yet you get the notification? Strange.

The Seasonals are released based on a FIXED time, regardless of your timezone. I have tried this for many weeks, and it still does not work for me in any way.

It is now 17:54 or 5:54PM here in my country
When i select that +13 samoa, my ps3 states 5:54AM.

So i think when it is really 5AM in 7 days, i get my season updates at 17:00 or 5:00PM on my PS3.
Doesn't change the time i really live in, still 5AM when i have acces to the new seasonals.

And if that would work, it would only benefit youtubers to be an early bird.

Your daily login bonus, on the other hand, IS client-side, and if you're down to zero you can roll it up to 5 days/200% in an hour around 1800UTC by switching the timezone on your PS3 through the UTC+6, UTC+5.45, UTC+5.30, UTC+5, UTC+4.30 timezones.

I live in Italy (which should be irrelevant anyway) - you can see that by my IPs. I shouldn't have the access earlier if this doesn't work right ? Next seasonals I will create a thread with all the info about unlocked events as soon as I can.

I have no idea why it's not working for others. I've discovered this by accident while boosting the log-in bonus.

I logged in and had the "New" icon on seasonals.

DOH.... The events go live at 3AM GMT .. Italy is GMT +1, you got them the same time as everyone else in the world.

Check the times for which I created the first A-Spec thread today, a little after 3AM for me, and a little after 4AM for you.

My Longitudinal GPS coordinate is: -0.009267000000022563, a few hundred meters west of GMT.
