How to: gold in Monza on a controller?

Dear community,

I wanted to ask for some help and guidance. I am trying to do gold in Monza (circuit experience).

I have done all sectors gold many times, but cannot just put a lap time together. I am getting closer and my last attempt is 0.4 sec of Gold. But I just do not know how to get faster.

I am playing on a controller. Any suggestions? What did help you? Do you set up a car? Do you have specific set up of the controller?

Thanks for your help!

Without having seen any of your runs, everything is a bit of a guess of course. One advice that comes to my mind is > Use more curbs ( to the extremes if necessary ) optimizing your cornering speed and exits. < I'd say start with Lesmo 2 and Ascari - if you really nail these my bet is you gain enough time to gold the full lap.

On a sidenote : I read quite a couple of your posts and I think you're on a good way. Just keep on practicing ...

Thank you very much for sharing the advice. I was very close…0,4 sec off. I thought it is this time! But! I need to be a bit more patient. But what I will learn, will help me further:-)

I did it!!!

What I think helped me, indeed, is increasing a bit controller sensitivity.

Never heard of the alternative names, but good to know. Thanks:-)

I think I will not focus on the Red Bull Ring after Monza. I liked Barcelona in F12023, but somehow do not like this track in GT7, possibly because of the last chicane

I also wanted to ask a general question to all tracks. How to learn breaking points? I try to watch the ghost, but cannot exactly see the specific breaking point and the amount of breaking applied. Also, I plan of a controller and It is not as easy to break 30-40% or accelerate progressively without causing a wheel spin. How do people do it?
