How to properly start GT7?

Although the truth is that very few swaps worth to deal with ,most of them are making the cars residents of Spin city.

Like I said, it depends on what the engines are. I think one was worth only 50k so it could be a decent cheap swap just for the experience.
There are quite a few swaps that are really good especially at the LeMans WTC 700. I am using @praiano63 tunes for about 95 of the swap engine cars and almost all of them drive great. There are some swaps that are totally undriveable and unable to be tuned.

What ?? I am happy when I get less 2 per week 😅 but before that when 2 years after launch I was "desperately" waiting for a Lambo invite, I happened to pass one or two months without an invite.

Currently I have at least 3 active (including 2 times a Ferrari, so 4 invites in the last month)

Lucky man ! (I had the Carrera this way, and I sold it, before they added the extra café menus where you need the car in the garage in order to get the ticket, hopefully I got 1 Porsche invite one day)

But how? What do you do to get it? What parts of the game you play? I only had them as I was going through menu books

I only get them through daily marathon tickets (4 and 5*). Don't need them anymore and I am still showered with those worseless prizes. (don't need more semi-racing exhaust for a ****** sedan either)

And for the Carrera, yes I needed money. Game economy sucks today, but it has been so much worse...

You get invites from Brands through daily marathons?

There are 10 total invite cars and these are the invite cars that you lack:
Bugatti Veyron 16.4
Citroen GT by Citroen Road Car
Ferrari LaFerrari
Ferrari Enzo Ferrari
Ferrari FXX K
The Pagani Huarya is also an invite car but I think you won this when you completed menu book 39, so you don't need to worry about getting that invite. Remember that you can receive duplicates of invites you have already received.
You can see the prices of the cars you lack in Brand Central in the Europe section.
PD doesn't know or care that Ferrari is your favorite brand and issue an invite based on that. 😂

You have posted that you have won a couple of engines. If you don't mind, could you post a screenshot of them from the Garage>Tuning Parts? Depending on the engines, it might be time to experience an engine swap if you are interested in doing one.

In ny humble opinion the B18C Integra98 engine, which goes into the Civic '93, is the most interesting one.

Not a crazy amount of power indeed, but enough to have fun with the Civic.

Also the Civic '93 I'd consider it a nice and friendly plataform to step into the tuning area. I've been doing that myself.

Edit: the K24A, if not mistaken goes into the Honda Touring Car it's another interesting option. Swapp the engines and set up the top speed in the gear ratios and the car is mostly done, because it is a well balanced car already in its original form.

Edit 2: be aware that engine swapping is a no return process. Once you swapp an engine you can't revert the process and install the original unit back in your car. Sure, there's an option in the tuning section "new engine" but somehow it doesn't work with swapps. The same goes for widebody changes. Once you install it, it can not be undone. If you choose the option "new body" it will revert the weight reduction (if you did any) and the body ridigity. But the widebody stays. PD game designs....

I'd advise you to have an extra copy of the car you want to experiment the swapp then. If you like it, you keep it. If you don't, just sell it and GT7 life goes on with your extra car.

Yes, buy 2 copies of the same car, because of the no return modifications. If you intend to work on a little tuning project it is no harm to keep a pristine stock backup car unit. Just in case.

When setting up your transmission, you have the option to set all the gears individually or set up the top speed only. When you adjust the top speed it's like you are "stretching" the gears all together so your engine can use all its power and reach a higher.... Top speed.

It is an easy way to work on your transmission, and it is enough for the Honda Touring Car (for my taste and driving skills at least)
